lol, this is the most wholesome comment I think I've ever read.
I'm starting to feel the same way.

Those pullups on a beam where unexpected and impressive

Right when he did that I was like damn ok.
13:41 wow!!
Whilst still chewing his brisket makes it even more impressive
,,When you're lookin', you ain't cookin'!"
That made my day!
Gotta show this to an impatient friend of mine!
That's an old saying in the barbecue community
I've said this so many times
I am from Lubbock Texas and a disabled veteran. I have a lot of time on my hands so thank you so much for this show.

By far one of the best algorithm recommendations from CZcams I've gotten. Thank you, Kent!
Uhh u seems like u need to put this comment on his grilled cheese video. Because that 2 weeks ago video is the reason a lot of ppl come to this channel.
same! just found his channel
I found his grilled cheese video on recommendation, fucking blessing from The Algorithm
These videos are so wholesome and entertaining with the way he makes you feel like you're actually by the smoker with him. Love this guy already
Thanks Matt for watching
Thank you for supporting US Veterans 😊😁
We owe the so much
Don't know why but you and your family have been on my mind a lot lately. Been praying for you guys.
Thanks so much for watching and for the prayers
Man do I love the aesthetic of cooking on a ranch. So old school and truly American!
Thanks for watching
😉😊
Too bad Johnny isn't a patriot...whomp whomp
My daddy worked on many a ranches in the Texas panhandle since he was 14 years old. I have lived on several growing up. I also married a ranching preacher who worked on some of the same ranches. I remember neighboring days and my mamma cooking for the hands and those who came to "neighbor" on round-ups. I don't think there was anything my mamma couldn't cook. She ran her kitchen and outdoor grills like a sargent! She made the best hot rolls, biscuits and whole wheat honey bread. I went on to culinary school, but I never forgot what she taught me. Her cooking was sampled by lots of my chef friends and they always walked away with some of her recipes and high praise for her cooking. lol
Thanks Wanda for watching and sounds like she was a great cook
Howdy, Kent! 51yr old Texan here… Thanks to you, I overcame my fear of ruining a brisket. We recently invested in an electric pellet smoker; yes, it’s cheating to have the temp dialed in and maintained by technology, but, I’m OK with these training wheels that will allow me more cooking time. Life’s short, get to cooking outside! GOD BLESS you, your family and all those fur-babies! -Dave
Mr. Cowboy Kent needs to do livestreaming. We would love it Kent.
I hope he stays basic - live-streaming would spoil the pleasure of watching his old school skills and talents.
@@percynjpn4615 nobody asked you though. Also 106 people agree with me bud
@Frank Bigschlong not being rude, but if 133 people now agree with me.... maybe you're incorrect?
@Frank Bigschlong Frank Littleschlong WOULD say that
@@paulcarmi8130 The amount of people that hold an opinion doesn't make that opinion correct or incorrect. That's the point of an opinion. CZcams doesn't even show how many people disagreed anymore. Plenty people could've seen your comment, disagreed, and nobody would be any the wiser.
The dude literally just voiced his opinion, just like you did yours. His opinion was asked for as much as yours was.
Hey Cowboy Kent and family. I haven't seen anyone since my Uncle's and other male family members cook the brisket - burnt - ends in years. The men would snatch up the meat pieces and talk about who can out cook the other. Thanks for the memories and good luck finding a good home for your new culinary sous chef. Take care.
Thanks Adrienne
Just when I think I couldn't be more impressed with Kent & Co., you start fostering dogs! Whoever gets Marmaduke will be getting a dog with a refined palate. Maybe you should send the smoker with him?
He is like the Beagle, he does love some beef
You just gained yet another level of my respect by doing right by that Pup. By announcing his need for adoption after y'all rescued him, you're giving him a special chance because you reach so many people.
And I'm always interested in our veterans. Hats off. Stand.
I believe that famous people have a responsibility to teach by example due to the influence y'all have upon so many. Well, not only do you stand up to the plate but you knock'em out of the park.
Bless you Kent and Shannon and The Beag ❤️❤️❤️
And thank YOU!!!
Thanks Gail and God bless you as well
I would adopt Marmaduke in a heartbeat if I didn't live so far away in California. Good boy! That brisket looks too dang good!
Thanks he is a great dog

Kent I must commend you for working to find the puppy a new forever home. My wife Teresa volunteers every week at our local shelter. It is another good work you are doing. May God bless you and yours. Lee Gates
Thanks Lee so much and tell Teresa thanks for all she does, God bless you both
We just got a new pit bull puppy in January. He was abandoned down by the river and was about a month old. We named him Rio. Those rescue dogs are such wonderful companions and they really seem to appreciate what you’ve done for them. Our little mini dachshund hates him but she’s about 10 years old and has little patience for his energy levels. Our Pointer, Roscoe D. Wundermutt, gets onto him when he gets out of hand but they do enjoy playing together when they think we aren’t looking. ALL of us are having to keep him in line because of his excess energy levels. But he’s got the makings of a truly amazing pet. I’m in a wheelchair quite often. He’s got tons of zing to burn. I might just have to harness him up and let him drag me around, save my arms some work and reserve a little energy of my own. Blessings y’all!
Thank you for rescuing and make sure they all get a treat
Well I watched this video and got hungry followed by buying one of these smokers! American made and owned by former military...I’m sold! Thank you Kent. I hope you, Shannon and the 2 culinary experts have a great week.
Thanks Kevin for watching
Kent your a good man with a good heart. Love Shannon's giggle as you still seem to sirprise her when you decide to get goofy.

I think he tickles her fancy.
It’s developed a fond, has a browned, carmelized, crispiness good dish!
What a lovley man and he knows how to put on a great video. Others could learn from him.

Looks like Marmaduke needs to live in the country. I'm sure that pup will make a great best friend. Thanks for the demo on the Pit Barrel Cooker. I love mine, they build them a few miles from where I live. Someday I hope to meet the owner.
Thanks Kevin for watching, good product it is
Wow, that does look pretty good. Brisket is my best friend, lol. My son just adopted a rescue, German Shepard. She has the same qualities the chicken dog has. Lots of energy.,. To much energy. Good bless and stay safe. Love from Texas... To you and your family.

I have been the proud owner of a Pit Barrel Cooker for four years and cooked on it at least once every other week. I was surprised you don't use the steel rods to control temperature but then again, my smoked brisket never looked so good. Next time I'm trying to cook it your way.
As always, you and your lovely wife have done an outstanding job. Many thanks.

You both are amazing I enjoy your videos so much and I especially like it when Shannon pans the ranch when we have a wait time she does an excellent job with the panoramic view way to go!
Thanks for watching she is a great producer and editor
Great recipe, great short cut for brisket Kent, a big plus being the company is owned by veterans. I always try to go out of my way to support our vets, and here in kentucky, we have a service called the christian blue pages which has listings for products and services for just about anything, ie: plumbing, electric, handyman , numerous products like appliances , tools new cars, etc... you name it, and i always go out of my way to try and patronize them. Also, you got a real good bark on that brisket in that short amount of time that it normally takes. You knew them pups were gonna eat that, lol. Wife and i are dog lovers, we have 3, feed em' deer steaks, premium dog food, they are so spoiled they'll turn their nose up at an offbrand hotdog, lol. Anyway , God bless you and Shannon, and them pups, lol, have a great day my good friend
Thanks Steve and God bless y'all as well

Hello Kent and Shannon! That brisket sure looks delicious! Your rescue is a really beautiful dog. I love his black and white fur. I would really love to have another dog someday. I had two wonderful pet Labrador retriever dogs who have since passed on to the Happy Hunting Grounds and I am currently the Mama of a very ornery house cat! My niece gave him to me because she was moving to a new apartment complex which did not allow pets.
I do not think my cat, Cairo, who is a mixed Tabby/Egyptian Mioux, would appreciate another animal on his turf. Although he came with his name I think he really should have been called, "Pharaoh" by the imperious way he stalks around the house! But he has been a blessing to us especially when it comes to keeping the field mice out of the kitchen during the cold weather months! Thanks for posting this video! Take care & God bless!
Thanks Pamela for watching
Ordered the seasoning, dip mix & relish. Looking forward to some good food!
Hope you enjoy and Thanks so much for watching
It's good stuff, we have some too.
your aren't going to be disappointed, sir. hands down my favorite rub.
Hey Phil, I use the relish with my breakfast all the time eggs, hash browns and refried beans mix a little or a lot of relish in the beans and on the eggs. You can't go wrong with the relish on any meat dish either.
That relish goes good on anything including ice cream......................
