I'm not sure sorry. They are readily available in New Zealand where ULEB burners are mandatory for new build housing in many urban jurisdictions but I am not sure about other countries. I tried googling ultra low emission fires in the UK but didn't come up with anything so perhaps they are not available there yet.
No, by pulling the damper lever, this redirects the exhaust gasses down to the secondary chamber (where they are ignited for secondary gasification). The remaining exhaust then goes towards the rear and up the back of the unit where it rejoins the main flue. This video demonstrates the underlying principle: czcams.com/video/BDy9gutoK2c/video.html
How long can a burn time be?
It takes me 30 minutes to get a working downdraft on the Cromwell! How often do you have to clean the bottom glass? Mine gets really dirty.
Over time the bottom glass has become harder to clean. Now I only do it about once a year and don't worry too much about it.
How much kw heat does these pump out?
Hi, it's rated at 16.2kW max output.
Are they available in the uk?
