Hello Mike, thank you so much. The right Video at the right Time. I am a absolute beginner and start makin Music at the age 50+ :) I really enjoy it and i love it so much. At last Black Friday i bought the Plugin, but i never used it before . Untill this Morning. But i didnt know how it works. But now i know it. BtW i just Cover a Song and sing to a Instrumental. Thats it for the Beginning. The first Years i was occupied with learning how the Plugins and S1 are working. I also start learning playin Guitar and Keyboard. My first Cover is "Homeward Bound" Greetings from Germany
Great video I had Vocal Line for about a year and refrained from using it due to lack of a clear instructional Studio one video. Thanks a million this cleared up alot of questions. I also have repitch been a lil skecthy with that also.
Like some other commenters, this is exactly the tutorial I needed right now as I’m about to try and tighten up some vocal doubling and harmonies (vocals that were comped with layers as I learned from another great video from you). These videos that highlight the not-always-intuitive capabilities and features of S1, especially for less experienced users, are absolute gold, thank you!
This is exactly the feature I needed today while recording my out of time harmonies. Thanks so much, I value your tutorials over any other as a new Sphere subscriber. Cheers
Great, succinct video, though I would add that in lieu of saving to a new file, you can simply Render each track (the orange box on the left side, for each track), which allows you to remove Vocalign's work if you have to. Or duplicate all the tracks initially (then disable and hide the originals) and Bounce the tracks in the existing project.
I switch from Logic Pro to Studio One and im so happy about that buuut! Zooming in this DAW by trackpad or magicmouse is way too sensitive.. why they cant fix this?
Great video! I purchased via the link once I saw that you can use it like Melodine and don’t have to manually add it to each track insert! Question… do I need to bypass all effects on each vocal track before doing this? How about bus effects? I’m thinking yes due to bouncing the tracks but I’m unsure? Thanks for the video!!
Hey Mike, great info as usual. Can you use Vocalign for timing and then use Melodyne for a few pitch issues on the same tracks? If so, is there an easy process to achieve that?
If you get vocalyne get repitch also. It works with vocalyne. It sounds way better then melodyne in my opinion. If you get vocalyne ultra you can have timing and pitch in the one plugin. But repitch is deep and you can go in and manually adjust things to perfection. Just my opinion
When I go to “audio”, it says “edit with vocalign” but when I click it, nothing happens Anyone else have this issue or know a way around it? Thank you!!
Hi Mike! Thank you for ALL of your clear S-1 tutorials.

👌👍👌👍👏👏👏
So vocalign doesn't work when the vocals in the tracks are already cut freely, correct?

Please Help Me I Want To Know How To Remove Breath From Vocal In Studio One
Hi Mike, after Render in VocAlign, an editor pops up with a track. Is that how it should be or is it a bug?
Vocalign is great but it’s ridiculously expensive!
how do you install it on a pc mines wont work but i see the plugin
When I go to “audio”, it says “edit with vocalign” but when I click it, nothing happens
Anyone else have this issue or know a way around it?
Thank you!!
Indeed Studio One 6 beats FL Studio concerning the timing features!
You should try repitch. I think its better then melodyne respectfully
I hate buying 3rd party plugins. Nothing worse than system/software incompatibility
As long at you go for VSTs, you should be fine. I have thousands, and never had an incompatibility issue TBH.
