- Acoustic engineers study the architecture, design and building materials being used to build the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh's new cathecral, so both the spoken word and song can be understood.
I went there on vacation over the summer. It was beautiful and the acoustics brought tears!!!
Awesome job by the construction crew!
I can understand acoustics being one priority, but they should not be the sole, or even necessarily one of the most important.
Thanks be to God that the Bishop took acoustics into consideration. So many Churches these days have horrible sound. And excessive microphones make it so much worse.
Is there a particular architect? Or do things work so differently from the Old Country that all cathedrals are designed by committees?
