How to train your dragon is one of my favorites. This was very well performed!
Thank you very much! I'm glad I could do one that's one of your favorites :)
I’ve watched how to train your dragon at the band directors house (I went to a different high school) (and no he was not my dad or family)
For those who try to play along but the 16th note goes too fast, play 8th notes instead. This is equally beautiful and easier to play😅
Straight facts lol
Had to watch this right away lol. Never realized how high you actually played this, well done! Love the harmonization as well
Thanks! Yea, it got up there at parts lol
@@thetrumpetman any tips on how to tongue faster?

Meus ouvidos ficaram muito gratos por essa pérola. Obrigado!
Love that crisp articulation coupled with that velvety Trumpet Man tone! 💪
Much thanks for the comment :) The tempo fell at just the right place where I couldn't keep up single tonguing for the entire time, so I had to just do a slower double tonguing.
You have know idea how happy i was to see this arrangement. The how to train your dragon sound track is so under appreciated
I'm glad you were happy to see it :)
I'm so happy you posted this. I'm going to practice this right now!
I'm happy that you're happy that I posted this :) Good luck with the practicing!
I love this! I’ve been waiting for this kind of sheet music so I can practice this for a school concert. Thank you for making this!
You're welcome! I hope it's helpful :)
Quite possibly one of the greatest (in my opinion)
Thank you very much!
WAS WAITING FOR THIS!! YESSSSSSSSS!!!
Ayeeeeee
I absolutely love this song and I hope that one day I can play it at the same level you are. Love the videos. ❤❤❤
I'm glad you love the videos! Thank you very much :)
Beautiful! Good job on the double tonguing.
Thanks! The tempo was sorta in no man's land. I could keep up a single tongue for a couple measures but not the whole thing, so I ended up having to do a slower double tongue.
FINALLY!
I knew people really wanted this one but I just kept forgetting to do the sheet music version lol
El jueves tengo una presentación y estaba buscando algo popular y que la gente conozca, muchas gracias
Musico formidável
I love this and im suprised that it wasnt higher up in the range (besides the C#)
I'm glad you love it! This version might not be in the key of the original soundtrack, so that might be why it's not higher.
Wow
Wish I could play this. I stopped playing recently and can’t play nearly as well as I could before.
I know how it feels to have playing being up and down. It'll come back to you with more practice :)
Woah! My daughter’s favorite movie. This soundtrack is her alarm clock music.
That's a good one to wake up to :)
Amazing! How and when do you breathe during the 1/16th note part?
Did you record in one take? I would soon go out of breath during those parts 😃
Lol thanks! I recorded this one in sections. So the 16th note parts were always by themselves. For sheet music purposes I turned the last 16th note into a rest to at least give yall some small moment to breathe lol
Can you please do more songs from How To Train Your Dragon
I will have to see in the future. It's been more challenging recently to record actual new songs :)
since stranger things came out we should totally get running up that hill(deal with god)
Maybe in the future, but right now I'm not planning it. But thanks for the suggestion :)

Hey trumpet man. What was the best way that you learned how to practice double tonguing?
I did the double tonguing exercises in the Arban's book.
would it be possible to transcribe this in the original key?
I'm not planning on that right now. I'm typically beholden to whatever karaoke track I'm using lol.
PORFINNN
Is there sheet music I can download?
The sheet music can be purchased here for download: www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=MN0256995&ca=0&cmpid=art_the_trumpet_man&
Does this work on violin?
If you mute the audio, it does. Otherwise, if you play along with it you have to transpose down a whole step.
Wow... I did not think one could destroy that epic track...
