- As someone who provides gear reviews for outdoor products, I often find myself testing shelters in the woods or mountains. But what about those times you just need to relax at the beach? Sometimes you need to have a shelter to keep you out of the harsh sun's rays.
In this video, we look at a wonderful option and offering from the company Easthills Outdoors. This shelter is the Instant Shader Enhanced Deluxe XL...a well built and easy to setup sun shelter and beach tent. I cover the details of construction, features, and setup of this great shelter.

@5:03 position the tent in the direction you want it to face.
Spread and install the 4 corner spikes.
Connect the 2 clips to the orange bar at the top
PULL the 2 orange cords to secure the top of tent
secure the 2 joints on each arm around the entire shade
connect all clips fron shad to support arms
By far the best review I’ve seen. Had to pull the trigger and buy this tent.
I think you'll like it. I use mine regularly...I hate roasting in the sun... definitely effective
I have one of those but under a different brand, really nice to have on a day like you have there with very few people around if any, not so good when the beach is packed with people. We use ours in our yard more often than anywhere else.
I was wondering about when it's packed....seems like beach etiquette comes into play...like for example, this huge shelter being setup in front of people...I guess with an umbrella people can still see past it. Dunno, what do you think, why is it no good with a busy beach?
This video will more than likely make me buy this shelter for my track and field athletes. Pole vaulters often have to sit in the sun for hours during competition. This would be perfect for two of them at least to hang together between jumps in the hot sun

Good quality Beach shelter. I Like it. And yes you can see the screens on modern devices much better in the shade. I think it is perfect for families. Good review again.

Very good practice using umbrellas or shelters. I've had basal cells removed from my back. I'm with you.
Yeah man...no need to sit and fry. I have very limited time I am willing to sit in the sun. I also would rather shade than lathering up in sunscreen...I'm sure that's not great for the skin either. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video and great review. One thing you forgot to mention was that part that zips shut for privacy can also be extended out as a beach blanket. I believe some people call it a "porch" or "patio".
Good point...yes, definitely. I had mine folded in and sorta forgot to mention it. I do typically keep it folded in...but I think you're right it's a "porch".

Thanks! I am lucky. We have one of the nicest beaches around...nice low tide, tons of fine sand with no rocks. It's a pleasure! But the tent works pretty well...I have enjoyed it so far with no issues!!

When we set up ours we put a cooler or something heavy inside while completing the setup when it's windy.

outer limitless Funny. We need to replace ours and this one looks like the best one for size. We have a Shadezilla beach tent that is 114 wide and there is nothing that wide out there. Darn. This will probably be the one. Thanks for the review.

Do they have a tent that can act both as a beach tent and a regular tent, if so I will appreciate someone telling me.
I am not certain...I would think you want different features out of both...one open for the beach, and one weather tight for camping?

mrxexes there’s so many out there to choose from and some can do both I just saw one from Amazon called Coleman Sundome Tent.
I actually brought a tent similar to the Easthills Outdoors Instant Shader, where it does zipper up allowing it to give you some privacy when you change, but it would have been that much better if there were also a zipper down door in the front after it is zippered up allowing it to mimic camping tents. Perhaps I will go to a good seamstress and have them sew one on for me allowing me to enjoy both worlds with one tent.
Be careful on folding down and disconnect clips. A bit hard to fold up mostly in wind

get a wood umbrella people. I had 2 of these and they break easily. the wind will get you
That's why I left the mesh open...I think on super windy days it could be problematic, but so far so good.
Save your money. It’s not worth the heart break trying to make it pop open. I tried many times to pull the strings just like they did in the video didn’t work. Only thing I got was broken heart, frustrating for trying over and over again and feeling worthless for not being able to do something so simple. Oh did I mentions I got rope burns on both of my palms.
I had pretty good luck overall...mine has been used about a dozen times. Still holding up well. I haven't had too many issues to complain about. I found the strings did work on mine just fine...but it definitely takes a bunch of practice to get used to the setup. Thanks for watching!
