That leaves me speechless! Instead of having a good time after two years of the corona pandemic and going totally nuts and letting it all out, all the people hold up their phones to film a Metallica show wich is filmed by the band anyway so you can download it from their website!?
@@mikeaydin4024 Im jealous 🤘 I saw them at israel at 2010 when i was 13 years old and it was amazing, no fucking smart phone for each one. People came to watch a show and not filming it
Saw a video without Lars and Dave Lombardo and Joey jordison filled in on drums and it was unbelievable how much better they sounded with actual drummers
Hm... Lars forgot to hit cymbals at the Whiplash again... slow tempo shows their age. And I was wondering about 20 yrs ago why AC/DC or other bands "in age" arę playing slower than in their prime time :-)
@@masteroftuning6956 ok I am not good enough in English maybe but: - compare introduction to Whiplash on record and live shows until 2018 (?). Each accented guitar chord at the beginning of the song was enhanced by a cymbal hit. Now Lars plays drums only. - about other bands - When I was young I was wondering why bands like Aerosmith or Ac / dc don't play with as much power as at the beginning - age does its job, time passes by and motor skills as well
Age thing it's not a good excuse, really, because Dave Lombardo (for example) can play really fast these days and has the same age as Lars. This is more a "lack of practice over the years" thing. I could bet that James, Kirk and Rob can play a little bit faster than this.
This was by far the best concert I will ever be at
Las Vega$$$!! 😎🤘
I was there, such an amazing concert
same
Me too
Same!
OMG ME TOO
@@axlvazquez5166 ain’t no way brother🤘
Hell yeah!! That concert was fucking amazing, thanks for uploading!! 🤘🏻
That Whiplash intro is awesome!!!!
I don't think so. IMO it is not good song to open show but this is Metallica's idea what will perform.
One of the best ways to open a show! Rock on everyone 🤟

Agree.. the crowd of today sucks
@@shachar6209 I am very glad that I witnessed the rise of Metallica during the glorious age of the 80!🤘😎🤘

Totally agree. The band should remind the crowd of this. I saw Hetfield do it once
I try to get about 4 videos of each band I see. I can relive it later too from my perspective. 500 subscribers I’m doing something right
they used this clint eastwood opening when I saw them in 89.. only the sound though
they always use this sound - the ecstasy of gold.
That double bass
You hear this you no within 5 mins or so the greatest heavy metal band ever are about to grace the stage
I was there😊
awesome opening-lucky u Stephanie
Ennio Morricone
Fuck I missed out !!!!
how many people were in place? 60000? 70000?
The place holds 65k for a Raiders game, so there wasn't that many because the seats in the end zone where the stage was couldn't be sold.
@@robertgaugler319 I read about the concert now and it was 60,000 🤟🏻

@@cristianvergara6825 True. Good point.
Everyone on their phones.... this is a concert in 2022 !! Fuck that !
Same thing would happen in 1987 if there were smart phones.
they open with Whiplash and the crowd is dead 🤔
It was a good crowd. Moshing doesn’t happen as much at their shows. I’m 50 and am too old for that now. But i did do my share back in the day:)

metallica always switches tempo every few years. i’ve read lars started playing to a click but im not sure about that.
