God’s call upon Paul’s life would not allow him to stay still in a place. Before long, he was on his feet again. On this trip, his friends were different and so was the route that he undertook. Instead of ending his trip in Derbe, this time he began his trip from there.
Paul and Silas now had Timoty join their team. One city and then the next, they were checking on the churches they had established during their last trip. But twice they were directed to change their course until they finally reach the port city of Troas. This is where Paul receives an invitation to go to Macedonia and also the city where Luke joins them on their journeys.
In Macedonia, the first city they visit is Philippi, probably the home town of Luke, the author of this book. Lydia gets saved and so does a jailor, but not until there is a dramatic turn of events.
Pastor Paul invites us into this missionary journey and reminds us that the steps of a righteous person are ordered by the Lord and so are his stops too. Get ready to journey into God’s call for your lives.
पौलुस के जीवन की सेवा हेतु बुलाहट उसे एक जगह पर रहने की अनुमति नहीं देती थी। वह निरन्तर सेवा में व्यस्त था। इस यात्रा में पौलुस के दल के सदस्य अलग थे और जो मार्ग उन्होंने चुना, वह भी अलग था। दिरबे में अपनी यात्रा समाप्त करने के बजाय, इस बार उन्होंने अपनी यात्रा की शुरुआत वहीं से की।
पौलुस और सिलास ने अब तिमोथीयुस को अपनी टीम में शामिल कर लिया। एक शहर और फिर अगला, वे अपनी पिछली यात्रा के दौरान स्थापित कलीसियाओं से मिलने जा रहे थे। लेकिन दो बार उन्हें अपने मार्ग को बदलने के लिए निर्देशित किया गया, जब तक कि वे अंतत: बंदरगाह शहर त्रोआस तक नहीं पहुंच गए। यहीं पर पौलुस को मकिदुनिया जाने का निमंत्रण मिला और यह वह शहर भी था जहां लूका उनकी यात्रा में शामिल हो गया।
मकिदुनिया में वे फिलिप्पी शहर में जाते हैं, जो शायद इस पुस्तक के लेखक लूका का गृह नगर था। लुद्दे उद्धार पाती है और एक दरोगा भी, लेकिन तब तक नहीं जब तक कि घटनाओं का नाटकीय मोड़ नहीं आ जाता।
पास्टर पॉल हमें इस सेवा यात्रा में आमंत्रित करते हैं और हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि एक धर्मी व्यक्ति के कदम प्रभु द्वारा चलाए जाते हैं तो उस कदम को रोकने की शक्ति भी प्रभु ही रखते हैं। परमेश्वर के आह्वान पर अपने जीवन की यात्रा करने के लिए तैयार हो जाइए।
