hmmm its probably because pork belly is very oily which most people arent used to early in the morning? it really depends on eating habits i guess most of my peers dont even eat breakfast or have very light breakfast like a slice of bread or two

Depends on the person though, some of my friends don't eat breakfast or have light breakfast, I usually have a big appitite but it depends on my mood lol

Because Koreans don't eat meat like this in the morning. It's like as if someone that isn't in college eating pizza for all meals, it's weird and definitely not see as a healthy choice.
I would love a husband like him and help out too. I love how South Korea recycles very well, unlike in America all recycling goes into one bin where random objects are thrown together, and sometimes some cities don't even recycle at all.
Not only in America, It’s worse in my country. Even with penalty, we still cannot stop them from making mess.

In Germany we have a Recycling policy too, we are quite strict here with that.
In Indonesian all recycling goes into one bin.. Someone throw the trash in everywhere when they on a road..

I love Moon Seyoon! First, meat for breakfast is great. Second, I love how he doesn't let the small digs about how much he eats get to him. In fact, he turns it around and owns it and somehow makes it funny!

4 years later and it still "shocks" me how Koreans think it is "shocking" to have pork for breakfast. They would be dumbfounded at an American breakfast. Pancakes and waffles with cream- that would be like their dessert. Or steak and eggs with potatoes -that would be like dinner. But then they have rice for breakfast which is more of a dinner thing for us.

Here in America, many of my peers would tease me for making food for my child at all times of the day. There's a comfort and peace of mind that comes from preparing everything and cooking it yourself for your babies. My fridge and pantry is very full also. ♡ Respect.

My husband is like this. The neatest person I know! He won't let me clean anything. He also cooks so much better and deliciously. When I come from work and bring something from the shop, his eyes shine if he sees meat and more than two vegetables. Our fridge follows an standard hotel kitchen methodology. I love him dearly and very often I wonder if I saved a country in a previous life.

I love the recycling movement. Is it a national habit/ what was done to encourage for the citizens to recycle? In our country, they would just leave the recycling bins and people would still throw trashes and materials into the wrong bin.

Mei V the meal itself isn't weird, it's the fact that he would have a meal typically for dinner, for breakfast. Many koreans usually eat a light breakfast and a heavy dinner because of time or personal preference so seeing a big breakfast is unusual.

윌러 well if you compare wage and price of food in the US, meat is quite cheap.. us and Canada also have a lot, and maybe bigger combined land area to raise livestock and foods than the land area of Seoul.
But if you compare South Koreans average wage to pricess of meat in US or Canada, of course it's expensive. And the price of meat in South Korea is almost the same as US meat prices.. there you can say that meat in Korea is really expensive
