I heard the reforged will only change the models and keep the gameplay as it is.
@@carlotiu1308 Honestly , for a good remake , campaign wise they can add stuff or improve on them , but muliplayer , the really need to not change a thing.

For everyone asking this is not beta , this is regular Warcraft 3 with the models dataminned from the reforged , so don't expect the game to be like this , mostly the optimization , we still have a lot of characters that don't have their animation finished.
But this give us a glance of how the game will play.
Basically the title is a little clickbait since this is no beta , expect the beta to drop in blizzcon with a different UI and maybe a different light to help with the colours of the characters since they are too much saturated

@@danielbarros7926 Oh right. I wish they could implement a slight unit model changing feature whenever we upgrade the unit like swords and armors n such.Or maybe randomized unit faces or different hero faces with same class that would be cool tho.
Tuguldur Sooyo they did add different faces/looks of the same hero class the paladin alone has like 8 variations although the alternates are mostly to make the campaign look better and every unit has a unique model now unlike the past where most units were just recollored versions of other units. You should check out the leaks.

I spend 1000 hours on world editor alone.i am one of the rare player who managed to play defence of the ancients custom map....i am so happy because all new custom maps gonna return.
Rare? Dota 1's player base was in the millions. It's still more played than games like Smite for example. : D

@@randallezno3055 Bruh, Defence of the Ancients was literally the most popular custom map on Warcraft 3. Rare isn't the word I would use, everyone who played custom warcraft 3 maps played Defence of the Ancients at least once.

They definetely have to work on moving and fighting animations and add a feeling of kinetic energy to the attacks. It just doesnt feel right if you see these big ass taurens attack without ans noticable Feedback in sound.

He is healing the other creeps. This may be a bug with the animation or model.

The human castle does'nt seem to have an animation when it is burning or destroyed its like being always built even though its finished construction but either way the game is great can't wait to play it in the future especially the campaigns

They are kinda like 2d-sidescroll moving if that makes sense. Or being very sneaky.
original, the swing a lot more. Maybe if they changed pally's hammer position. Having him kinda dragging it behind him but above ground. Idk something that makes him more "animated" really.
Same thing could potentially be said for footmen and grunts.

Can they put some improved mechanics like SC2? I'm not saying that they must be the same, I'm saying is that, the game has the potential, to entertain the crowd when it is played in competitions.

Some of the character portraits need some work. Hopefully this is actually a "beta" and not just the final product being delayed for minor tweaks. Why does the shaman look like a crappy guldan?

@@smhht if it is then I'm very disappointed because I was hoping they will be using a newer engine for better look and optimization... It appears that this looks like a fan made mod for HD Textures
alcatraz14 From the start they said they are using the same engine because they want people to be able to switch between HD and original quality WC3 at any point, even in multiplayer. All this criticism may be irrelevant at this point anyway, because this isn't even beta. It's a hacked unofficial version with a huge amount of missing or unfinished assets (Nightelf and Undead isn't available for example). Personally, I can see a lot of improvements, and didn't want it to diverge too far from the original's charm.

the model detail is nice , but i don't like the graphic in whole , it just feel too realistic , not carton like anymore .If the reforged war3 graphic look like heroes of the storm would be much better

i hope they atleast change the text a little bit, i want to still like it but it not be EXACTLY the same because then it still kinda feels like the exact same game. also the map, and the interface. also the animations for the portraits especially on the peon is buggy. also why are the peons addicted to crack now. xD im sure the games gunna be amazing though.
