You can not cut the light on these as it will ruin the four corner design with the LEDs. This kit should fit on most 55 to 75 inch TVs if your TV is smaller than that you may need to look at another option

At 7:07 what is the thing that comes up before you sync to the screen just out of curiosity I set mine to zero like in the video but was curious what it was
It’s if the side portion of LEDs go over to the top and bottom or top or bottom LEDs sections end up on the sides. If your tv is smaller you can adjust for accuracy of colors. Basically a way to adjust the LEDs to know where they’re mounted in case the TV is smaller or bigger it adjuster positions if you don’t set the lights up correctly on the back.
@@WilliamNevius yes, i have followed the steps to put the power box in sync mode where it blinks green. But it never shows up on the app, i’ve even tried to connect it manually since the auto scan did not work. There isn’t many options for troubleshooting

That kit is almost identical to the BDFLY kit I had. The only difference is the led strip. The app is identical to the BDFLY kit. The reason why I stopped using the BDFLY kit is there was no way to adjust the brightness of the LEDs and just like you I didn't like the way there is two boxes.
This kit is one of those products that a manufacturer sells to multiple companies and they ad their name to it. They are a bunch of similar products that has the same apps etc.. I agree, I ended up swapping this kit out for the Lytmi kit which is Amazing!!

Based off of the specs it does support HDR 10 and Dolby vision I haven’t tried it because I don’t have any devices that support it but the 4K 60Hz work so I’m sure it supports all claims.

To reset try unplugging and plugging the power supply 3 times or 5 times to see if it starts to blink for resetting
