Purim is a Celebration of a narrow escape from genocide described in the biblical Book of Esther. Pronounce it: Poor-im.) Look at the CORRELATION with the meanings of the name. I think the lady asking questions, is doing a pretty good job, considering the subject matter. I haven't heard her ask or say, anything rude or disrespectful.
My mother told me stories of taking potatoes to Polish men behind a fence and sneaking by night. They were in a pillowcase and my grandmother cooked them in the morning so they would not steam when she sneak them to them at night. Dates set this as my mother very very young, around 5.
