It's tough to top Led Zepplin (a teenager through the 60's), but Dan did it. He just puts a different power into his voice than what the original has. Love It!! Great reaction!! ♥

I agree! This one is better. But I understand what you mean about it not being Vascified. He often not only matches an original, but kicks it up a notch. This looks to be a fairly early video. I wonder what he would do with it today.
I don’t know how he do it, but the way he sings he articulates the word so suddenly he creates a new song because you now can hear the lyrics. IMO Tommy J and Dan really should be on the same stage together
I've always been a Led Zeppelin fan but hey, stand back for Dan Vasc❤❤ This was recorded quite a few years back. His voice is unbelievable. Biig ups to Dan. He also does an excellent "Guns n Roses", "Sweet Child O Mine". Looking forward to more Dan reactions, thankyou😃

Thank you for keeping Dan Vasc Tuesdays. I hadn't heard this one before and I loved it. Loved your reaction, also. I like Tommy and I listen to his "You Raise Me Up" all the time, but in most songs I prefer Dan's cover, even over the original song. He has such a rich tone and then when he throws in some grit to his voice, what can I say, he's my favorite. 🥰 Let's not forget Dan's beautiful, black hair, also. 😃

Huge LZ fan here, and I really like Dan also but to say better than Robert Plant...hmmmm...I think I take exception to that. Anyway, when I first heard of TOMMY JOHANSSON I left him a comment suggesting that he cover "Immigrant Song", kind of bummed that Dan got to it first, since it is a viking song that would fit him and his heritage perfectly! I know this sounds like I don't like Dan but I really do, it's just this song...❤ Ok, this is an edit...I had to laugh because right after I commented I went back to the video and you were talking about Tommy being able to cover this! So funny!
