What is the minimum amount of space you need? This is important, because if you don’t even have enough space to fit a grill and small countertop area… There’s not really a point in continuing to pursue the project. So… What is the minimum area needed for a small outdoor kitchen? It’s a bit more complex than just making sure you have enough space for the island itself. You also need to incorporate enough room for walkthrough space around the island… And follow grill setback requirements, to make sure your grill is not too close to any exterior wall. (This can be a fire hazard if ignored!) We crunch all the numbers in the video… So you’ll just have to hang tight for the exact dimensions.
