Man Jacob is the biggest nerd and I absolutely love it.
The evil twin energy from Charlotte and Patrick was immaculate in this episode. Of course Jacob knows this series and Armando trapped in this room with the lot of them 😂
Does Jacob have a photographic memory? How does he manage to hold all these random names in his brain space? Also Urgals "did i do that?" got me, well done.
As he gains more knowledge his majestic hair gets bigger.
My favorite part is when Patrick references "the train movie" and they all pretend not to immediately know he means Snowpiercer, a movie that has been discussed on Funhaus eight thousand times, but that I have never heard of anywhere or from anyone else.
snowpiercer is very good and very popular. Not sure which rock you're living under.

Anyone else in band in middle/high school have the absolute unhinged pleasure of playing the slap stick for the Christmas concert? When they started singing and Charlotte perfectly did the slap early (you have to account for the movement) I really felt a kinship.

The fact that they didn't know Robert Carlyle's name but then called Patrick Rumplestiltskin, a character played by Carlyle in Once Upon A Time, is typical Funhaus. Accidently going full circle.

Eragon was the first movie adaptation of a book I watched that I hated for not adapting it properly. I was 10 at the time and was so upset at what they had done to my favourite book at the time. I remember being like "Where's the desert?, why did they cut out half the book and all of Brom and Eragon's bonding?, and why is Durzer fighting Eragon on top of a weird smoke monster?".
And Saphira growing up suddenly instead of gradually, the Ra'Zac being worm-like instead of bird-like, the Urgals being basically fat barbarians instead of ram-like humanoids, Arya not looking elvish at all except for the ears, the persecution through the valley to reach the Vardens, there are no Dwarves, there are no Twins, there is no Solembum the Werecat, Durza not inflicting the back injury on Eragon... Galbatorix and Shruikan being on sight several times instead of being shrouded in mistery... very dissappointing

I got this game as a 3 day rental from rogers video in 2007. I had not yet seen the movie and young me was quite angry about the poor adaptation. Later on I realized that Eragon was someone telling the hero’s journey through the equivalent of a game of telephone across media and franchises.
All 4 of them are gems and I adore them so much 🥰

I played this game a whole lot as a kid.
I have such an odd relationship with the Eragon franchise. Saw the movie, loved it. Played the game, loved it. Then I began reading the books, loved them, which made me hate the movie, but I still strangely liked the game enough to play it from time to time. Then time went by and I forgot mostly everything about the franchise, even though it consumed a decent chunk of my childhood. I remember not really liking the last book when I read it in high school.
The main thing I remember from the movie is that they make a big reveal of Safira's(?) armor near the last battle or whateve, but when she appears later with it on, it's a completely different armor for some reason. I might've missed something, I was young.
