Wow, I don't know her but this is the best cover of the song hands down. You can hear Nina Simone's influence in her singing but she made it totally her own. The detail of each note is amazing.
She comes to Australia, sets stages alight with her majestic performances, humility and humour. Enmore Theatre was stunning (thank you). Then she goes and signs off with one of the best Trip J covers ever witnessed. Australia. Done.
