Parts and the smarts make for knowledge and gift to gab about good ol Harley Davidson bikes we need to watch 2 or three of your videos to unwind after a long day in this bleeping world 🌎 please don't ever stop Tood
I'm not a fan of baggers but the 69 FLH is My most favorite bagger such a sweet ride..Back in the day a lot of Guys round My way Lake Ontario the Steel City You seen a lot of these slab sides around when they got tired of the big bagger the would chop them down..They all came from Pooles HD on Parkdale Ave...Great vid Todd
I have a the same bike but red a white and with all the trim not just the basics, fully dressed out ... Currently on the jackstand again for yet another primary case leak, gotta love that seal...
No front fender light?? You Should Be Ashamed It’s not worth anything without that option… we’re all very very disappointed… And You Made Alfred Cry… still love the Sandals
Fucking awesome! I watched and then more importantly (at least to me anyway) APPLIED THE KNOWLEDGE of the 4 speed clutch video. It worked like a charm on mine.................that's one nice scoot man! Of course it ain't cheap nor should it be!
no, the "disturbing noise" from clutches happens when they are worn out and people ride worn out clutches. This one is in good shape, but not put together as nice as I like (it needs cleaning). watch my 4 speed clutch video. I explain it
Thank you so much for answering me so fast, it's really nice.... I have been owning an FLH 1970 and now i have a Panhead 48....both were doing a high pitched sound when i active the clutch....i was told that it's normal, just because it's antic Harley and old vintage Harley do that... Thank you again for this advise...yes i am going to watch your video and change my clutch for a new one.....do you suggest one brand in particular? or just a stock one? Last question, are you planning to sell your FLH one day? because i want to buy an early Shovel instead a late, and year 69 is my birthdate so...:)
yes, this FLH is for sale. Nearly any bike I put on the youtube is for sale. Price $16,000 email for good pix huntingharleys@gmail.com I personally like the stock clutches with a 5 finger hub. Who is making good clutch plates today, I cannot say.
HuntingHarleys In early 1970, I bought a 1969 FLH, bagger, just like this one, with 1400 miles on her. She had that titty pink color that H-D liked at that time. I took it from the H-D showroom floor for the price of $2,500 . My oh my, folks sure like to jack up prices anymore... Folks do love that old iron tho, I know I do....
1965, the Electraglide, was the last year Panhead, and 1st year for the electric start on the big twin and 5 gallon tanks. 1971 saw the 1st big twin offered with a skinny fork, basically a Sportster fork with a i inch neck stem instead of 7/8 of an inch, the FX. Today, we refer to the big full fender bikes of the 1965-1984 period that are 4 speeds as an FLH. Although HD did offer other models in the FL line then just the FLH. They ALL had 5 gallon tanks in this time period.
What is that ?? A Gold Wing? Oh yeah those are nice Hondas.. Some One That Knows Som one Has One Just Like It .. But it’s red .. Yeah Honda The Best .. my friend has one… I know someone that heard someone crashed a Honda one Time.. & His Girlfriend. Got Killed… Not On The Bike…. No She Aas Hit By A Train,, She Was Deaf Ya See..Any Way My Cousin Sammy Was Riding his one time when a Artichoke WHACKED Him In the Nuts.. oh shit gotta go…
I was being sarcastic, you wouldn't want my bike, its a 1975 FLH with all the JP cycles you could ask for. Sure, it looks nice but there hasn't been an inch of my bike that hasn't been molested! With the exception of the seat on your 69, mine looks almost like yours, but yours runs! Here's my bike on Harley Tech Talk: harleytechtalk.org/htt/index.php/topic,92235.0.html
nice sandals…. please don’t ride THAT Machine Dressed Like That …I don’t think you realize what you have there… no really… no really ..OMG HES RIDE IT LOOKING LIKE LIKE THAT & No Boots… I’m Out Ya Lost Me With Because You Have No Sence… BTW It Look Like The One Dad Bought Brand New In 69 In Nassau NY.. I was there too

My bad yes it did.. Shovelhead is 66-79
I'm happy you're back to buying and selling bikes again Todd, I really missed the test rides and the bikes you find...
This reminds me of all the guys letting their bikes run at bar closing time. All shovels!!
I'd love to be your neighbor & see so many unique bikes drive by.

Wow man. That's where I saw my first chopper around 1965! Made a big impression on a teenager. Was trying to remember the name of the dealer.

Im glad you said what you said about harley not knowing what the fuck they were doing. Too much experimenting and negotiations happening lol
Harley-Davidson to this day still don't know what the fuck they're doing just like their twin cam Motors and Milwaukee eight pieces of shit
It’s 67-79 Can All be that bike
sweet oldie
Actually it might be good for me to have that tilitson original , like a timer , when it stops spitting its probly time to ride right .
they never stop spitting completely, just less. But yes, less spitting means more warmed up
I have a 1966 XLH and the Tillotson (upgraded to a D spec) never spits. Wonder why they do it on your big twins.
I generally don't tune these up. Sold as you see it.
nice bike
nice
Years rather .

Why i don't here any disturbing noise when you active the clutch.....is it because it is an hydraulic clutch?
no, the "disturbing noise" from clutches happens when they are worn out and people ride worn out clutches. This one is in good shape, but not put together as nice as I like (it needs cleaning). watch my 4 speed clutch video. I explain it

So "all " dual tanks or just fl's from 65-84 ?
only the FL / FLH body style. The FX body style used 3.5 gallon tanks or a 3 gallon FXE style tank
What year did they use 5 gal tanks ?
1965, the Electraglide, was the last year Panhead, and 1st year for the electric start on the big twin and 5 gallon tanks. 1971 saw the 1st big twin offered with a skinny fork, basically a Sportster fork with a i inch neck stem instead of 7/8 of an inch, the FX. I mean look at the seat!... Who in their write mind would say this looks nice?
Looks like hell without the tour pack.. that's why I keep my solo saddle on until it's time for sturgis
Michael Mitchell , that would be "right mind" , but yes they were huge.
@@captainamerica9353 who cares
@@michaelmitchell5909 , who cares if you don't like the seat, or that you're an illiterate? Not sure to which you are referring to.
@@captainamerica9353 piss off bloke, and stop wasting my time responding
