Her words were so eloquent so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. What a precious scene. Her beauty wasn’t just on the outside, but also from within.
"We offer little, we offer all what we have.. "... Wow... Beautiful quote.... Same Jesus said to his discipiles when he saw a poor woman offers in church..." She offered little, but all what she have".... God's people speak God's word.
Goosebumps!! I love this scene! It is such a great reminder about life and love. We must be careful in how we choose our mates. Don't get caught up in the glitz and glamour. Find someone that is real with you and you can be real with them. And the memories of that past love that did you wrong, appreciate the person that offers you a loving and "healthy" relationship.
Sephora’s role is so beautiful and feminine, so submissive yet string, and her beauty is every man’s dream. A humble, beautiful, spiritual woman, Yvonne de Carlo is gorgeous.
My favourite movie. The best acting. Yvonne is absolutely the prettiest woman ever. And many of us can learn a thing or two from her regarding relationships
The one line that really meant the most to me in this scene, and out of the whole film, was “Love is not an art to us. It’s life to us.” 🤍 And she is SO right- love is not something that is meant to hang on a wall, like a picture or a painting, it is something that is meant to hang on, inside your body, and how you can express your feelings with it. Rest In Peace, Yvonne De Carlo.
One of my favorite scenes of the movie. I always laugh at Zephora asking Moses which of her sisters he had chosen. The very fact that Moses was there with her made it very clear what his choice was. Honestly, even without her awesome personality, I would still take Zephora over Nefertiri as the more beautiful woman. When Moses puts the bracelet around Zephora's wrist... wise move there, sir.
I admire Sephora because she knows and accepted that Moses will always think about Nefertiri and she will always occupy a place in his heart and mind. Most women of today are totally incapable of that. If they found out their man have an ex, they will always view that ex as competition and a threat.
Yes, he did choose rightly. If I was Zephora, I would have responded the same way. Moses truly loved her that was obvious. When someone truly loves you, there is no fear for perfect love casteth out all fear. I liked her response. Besides, Who could say no to Moses? Not me. It was all ordained by the Lord that's the difference. People's past should stay in the past. And of course we all have a heart pieces of it will belong to people we loved that's a part of life. They will be a part of my memory. But my love standing in front of me my beloved will own my heart,💗
She sounds a bit insecure but not jealous imo. Just sounds like she knows how people get attracted to physical beauty but that does not always equate real love.
Sephora was no Israelitess, she was a desert Bedouin. That's why Moses's sister Myriam despised her when she later moved with him to their camp after the Exodus from Egypt. Read your own Bible!
Charlton Heston was definitely the best actor for this movie he was a fabulous actor loved all his movies and Yvonne Decalo was great in this movie also another fabulous actress

Ancient Egyptian poetry describes the beautiful white breasts of an Egyptian woman. The tribe who built the Egyptian civilization were Levantine caucasoids who migrated down into North Africa from the western edge of the Asian Fertile Crescent. They shared no genetic kinship with sub-Saharan Africa, but were instead a match to the ancient Near/Middle East ranging from parts of modern day Turkey and Iraq, to Syria, Israel, Jordan and Lebanon. These are all Levantine caucasoid people groups. This history has been handed down throughout their generations, which is why modern Egyptians still consider themselves a Middle Eastern people, even after thousands of years in Africa.
Midian is actually in Western Arabia, not Egypt, and was never ruled by Egyptians. That's what Jethro is, and that's what Moses married into. Read your Bible.
Jethro is an Ismaelite from Arabia, which were all dark people as well. Moses is an Israelite from the tribe of levi. All were dark people from different tribes. Moses married an Ishmaelite women, however, the children comes from the house or seed of their father Moses. Read your bible again. Especially the first 5 books of the Torah. God blessed the Egyptian handmaid and Abraham's mistress, Hagar and her son Ishmael out in the desert when they were sent packing from Sarah. Ishmael recieved the blessing with 12 princes and ruled in Arabia. However, Issac recieved the Covenant from God which his son Jacob, renamed Israel, inherited and had sons that represented the 12 tribes of Israel. So please, don't mix truth with lies. God have chosen the Israelites as his people not the Ishmaelites.
@@panama8009 They were and still are Levantine caucasoids. Moses’ flight was not random: he fled to extended family outside the reach of Egypt, to the Midianites who were the tribe descended from Abraham’s son Miriam with his wife Keturah. She was not an Ishmalite woman, and Arabs aren’t black.
If there is 'loveliness' which can hold so much-more, within it's arms, will anyone out there, can anyone out there, is there anyone out, - Why is it then forever superceded by it's 'cousin' ? Always. It always has, I dare say it always will. It's celebrated so highly, but it's also eschewed, even ridiculed. Maybe it's a chick thing; but then, for humanity's sake, my God I hope not.
White as curd? Laughable..that statement came from cecil b. "Biryh of a Nation" demille himself gloriying whiteness when the truth is it was all dark and fine like brass. When a woman captures a man's attention without trying that's when you know she's something special!

There's nothing wrong with getting glamored up, just as long as you don't worship it.
Nefertari did not do Moses wrong. He was the one who left her. She was willing to do anything for him, but he loved his god more

I like how she is understanding that he still has sentiments towards the previous woman of Egypt. She is above petty jealousy.

Yes, Yvonne DeCarlo was truly wonderful in this film as Mrs. Moses. ( Hey remember, Old Testament prophets like Moses didn't have any last names)
She is one beautiful woman, god bless u.

Yvonne de Carlo was gorgeous in this scene.
You speak with much authority, and also with great knowledge. I enjoy reading your comments.

An incredible seeing she played the perfect part of being Moses wife
