The Shepherd (The old man at the beginning, with the dog) lights the stars with a magic horn : it's his job. But he grows old and someday he dies. The Sun (the big yellow guy), is sad and upset. All these emotions give birth to the Moon. She sings so the stars light up and the shepherd and his dog become a big bright star : the evening star. At the end, the moon is taking place in the sky, with the evening star.
