You inner conflict about the coat reveals a caring, concerned and kind heart. I know when you have a channel it is always on one's mind what other people think. You don't have to worry about the jacket as you said it was already made and to keep it from the landfill you are trying to support your family and you don't have to be sorry for that.
I was given a rabbit fur coat when I was a child. I didn't have any idea that it was real. My Daddy was not having it. He was a hunter of rabbits for food. He just didn't want his young daughter thinking it was ok to wear something that caused so much controversy. I was made to give it back. But if I had the chance today to resell one I would in a heart beat. I am a disabled single mom of two. That money would be a God send for me and my kids. No judgment here. When it comes down to it family comes first. Hugs! You did great!!

Great haul! I 💯 believe in keeping fur and leather going for as long as possible once the damage has been done. It’s honoring those animals lives. That lamp is epic!!!
Fossil bags are a good resale. You could have gotten 30 to 50 bucks for the fossil bag you were looking at depending on condition. Using a little leather oil really makes them look so nice.
I bought a much smaller messenger from ebay and paid $30.00. It was like one I had in the past.
I bought a gnome for my grandson a couple of years ago at a thrift show and the lady who made it had used a fur coat and repurposed it to make the beard of the gnome! Nothing wrong with that!
A few months back I was watching this one CZcams channel and she was shopping at the Bins, she came across a vintage fur coat and said that she looks at it like this, 1. She is saving it from the landfill and 2. She did not want that poor animal to die in vain and 3. She didn't buy it brand new, she wasn't going to a fur store specifically looking for that. But she wanted to get it to someone who would enjoy it. So you are fine girly no one thinks less of you ❤

Rabbit fur is better than fur coats made from endangered species.
Don't beat youself up over the coat. I know you love animals and so do i. But like you said you need the money for your family. You saved the coat from the land fill. You didn't kill the rabbits.

John, you need a leather needle in which to attach the pocket lining to the leather and some bonded nylon thread. I am a seamstress, and this type of needle works wonders and the thread is strong. Saves poking your finger several hundred times. Lol

I probably would have bought the coat, but not for resell. I think there are organizations out there that take donations of old fur coats and things to give to baby animals that have lost their mothers and are being rehabilitated. :) But I definitely understand not wanting to buy it regardless. I don't think the fur is any different than buying leather items or real horns & even taxidermy. At least you saved it from the trash & you can support your family. You did the right thing I think.
That man with the hats has the right idea and he has a good market. People love their hats! Shoes is another niche. Watch Dad Planet! A single father who does $2,000 or more a month mainly shopping at Goodwill. Please give some thought to saying so many things are dirty. We know many people handle the things, but everyone there is trying to make money. Rabbit fur is not as controversial, people eat rabbit meat. Be safe. You might do a video on how you and John clean and repair items.

Dont't fret. I feel the same as you, but would do the same. The fur shouldn't go to the landfill, and wonderful if it lives on to bring money in for your family and brings someone else joy. I noticed that other utubers have a thanks button. You should have one. People love you. You are the first video I click on in the morning with my coffee. You bring smiles to the start of my day.
The fur coat is great. People repurpose older fur coats into new things. Older minks, rabbit ect people love to wear.

It’s all about survival & sometimes we do what we have to do. People should be less judgmental of others. You never know what someone might be going through. I think you got some pretty good stuff. I’m a reseller myself and I do it for what my disability don’t cover but I really enjoy doing it also. So good for you. Keep doing what works for you. Enjoyed watching as always!👍😃

We love you Robyn and I know you want to help your family so don’t worry . I use to own a rabbit coat my sister gave me . It was so warm and I don’t like that they kill animals to make them but the native Americans have been doing it for thousands of years and like you said ‘ It’s already been done ‘ So it’s good you saved it and someone can get some use out of it so please don’t feel bad .

You nailed it about the fur. I totally agree I think it's a desecration to the life of animals to throw away fur in the garbage after they died for it. Now that is really disgusting! I'll reiterate what others said that is a super point, you are recycling, and you will be making good money for you and your family. Also, someone will get use out of that coat. So, on the contrary, you are taking a negative and turning it into a great positive. Besides, you don't need to apologize to anyone. And hey! it's so evident you are animal lover, and you like fur too, but you like your fur with an animal wearing it, LOL! The lamp is cute! I bet the colors will pop when its lit up with a light bulb. That Jewely box is really cool! I think it's really pretty! It looks like its in good shape. The jewelry box looks like it's from the 60s-70s. The Mickey Mouse Christmas jar is terrific!! Really adorable love it! It looks like it was never used. Gosh! for the price you paid for it, you can't go wrong. I think the animal print wheel for your car is cool! It looks like its brand new! Garfield! you can't go wrong with Garfield LOL! I love Garfield LOL! Always so cute! The monkey is really cute! You find a lot of cute monkey things at the binds, that panda bear backpack is really great! I think it's better to buy used fur/leather than pleather. Pleather takes so much longer to break down in the landfill. So you are saving a piece of clothing from the dump and helping by not buying plastic.

I have a silver fox fur coat. So you picking up the fur coat didn’t upset me. But I’ve had my fur coat since the ‘80’s. I know people will be upset with me but I got it for free. And I have only wore it maybe a half a dozen times if that many. It’s in a aplastic bag hanging in my closet.
Years ago I went to a xmas party from work, and one of the lady's husband danced with me and sang "Lady in red" in my ear the whole time! lol

You are a good person. Never worry about what someone else thinks about your purchases. There is always that button that they can swipe, push or whatever. Like you said you need to provide for your family. And that fur can be used in many different ways whomever buys it. People need to stop being so sensitive. The Bible even says that there are animals put on earth to provide us food and to keep us warm. And not just by their fur either. But your kindness of other peoples feelings shows that you are a good, decent human being. Don’t change who you are.

I raised two sons by myself with No help, worked 3 jobs and put myself thru nursing school...if you worry what others think you might as well quit because there will always be a few critics...but most likely those folks don't have to worry about money. I think you were very wise And that pocket can easily be mended with a few tight stitches that will never even be noticed. If others don't like the coat they don't have to buy it. You did great.

I agree with other folks. Buy the fur, don’t feel bad about it. You need to provide for your family. It’s interesting to me that a lot of the stuff, at your bins, looks like it was never in at any goodwill store… like someone donated and it went straight to the bins. I find it hard to believe that some of those items wouldn’t sell on the retail side. And on the other hand, they have over priced junk on the shelves. I also feel like they could put stuff into some type of pallet and sell instead of putting into the trash compactor. Ok enough of my opinion for the day… love you Diva. ❤️
