@LeananCuisine let me start with love and say that I watched this entire series all the way through and it each episode made me laugh. Minus the one with you drinking in the classroom. Lol that was really depressing. Personally, I feel like you have the potential to be HUGE. What keeps you from going from funny to stomach clenchingly hilarious is theres a lack of clever misdirection. The best comedy, in my opinion is either based in laughing at one's pain or/and uses misdirection to subvert your expectations on punchlines. That may be because I'm a huge proponent of standup but it still translates to shows. For example, Percy being on a phone s*x call was funny but the way you flamed him didn't feel as funny as it should have...until you told everyone to shame him and the class chanted SHAME SHAME SHAME. That was freaking jokes because it subverted the viewer's expectations of what a teacher should tell a class to do as a professional and the way that a classroom of adults would respond to the demand. I don't know if this comes off as hate but I really mean this with love because in a world of fast TikTok style comedy I really appreciate the effort to create long form content that I can look forward to. It takes work, it's not easy, and I'm really glad someone as funny as you is doing it
