  • Fallout 4 has finally arrived, and in classic Bethesda style, it isn't easy to endure the harsh world of Fallout 4, here's 16 basic survival tips to help you hold up whilst travelling through The Commonwealth.
    Just like its predecessors, the barren Commonwealth is an unforgiving world, particularly at the beginning of the game when you’re a fresh-faced vault inhabitant with nothing but a 10mm pistol gun and bright blue jumpsuit on your back. You're always welcome to turn down the difficulty if the going gets hard, don’t lose hope yet! FO4 is meant to be a challenge, and a lot of fun comes from working out how to hold up against conditions that seem initially unpleasant.
    This abysmal open-world sandbox RPG doesn't disappoint nor is it simply a park in the park.

    2:00 The way that thing chases you across that foggy bridge is extremely creepy.

    When you're starting out it's best to stay up north in the commonwealth because the further south you go is the more difficult enemies get, I learnt my lesson the hard way.

    I love the fact that the whole crafting and building system become available pretty much right away after you get out of the vault. No waiting for a specific level requirement or a quest to trigger. I started scrapping and cleaning up the first town right away, might even build a few things before I venture out to follow the main quest.

    Great tips for anyone new to fallout 4, I forgot to save one time and ended up having to redo over 5 minutes of gameplay, it really helps to save on a regular basis.

    I enjoy Fo4 despite the many technical flaws because it's a great game, also thanks for the helpful tips.

    A fallout 4 tips guide? That's helpful but I'd prefer a kill compilation or walk-through ;)

    One more tip, the mobile "pipboy" app works pretty well. Can make navigating the pip boy menus infinitely faster especially on consoles.

    Companions can wear your Power Armour. Just order then to enter in it just as you order them anything else.

    I attempt to pick up everything I find, including loot from enemies and find myself having to drop to under levelled armor just to run.

    Also, I learned playing Fallout 4 is much, much comfortable to play with a controller. There, I said it. Building the settlement was a pain in the ass, moving from the mouse to the arrow keys to navigate the awful menus, and everything is a breeze now with my trusty ps4 controller.

      +sorapapu I don't play any pc games unless I'm using a game controller, although the Sims 4 is an exception.

    Oh no I've been wasting stimpaks on my companion not realising that I should have been using it on my character indeed, the more you know..

      +Candice Porsha So have I but been wasting stimpaks on them because they die so quickly.

      I love using companions but sometimes I feel they're inadequate.

      Candice Porsha You should be able to have multiple companions to accompany you on quests.

    My main "problem" right now is that I don’t have any idea of what build I should do. I have never played Fallout before, so I don’t know exactly what are the best stats and what I should prioritize, especially during the beginning of the game.

      +Roan Kyleson Do whatever you feel like, just don't allocate your points in one stat otherwise the game will be merciless.

    • @MachinaPrince
      @MachinaPrince Před 8 lety

      +Roan Kyleson That's correct, Fallout 4 allows you to do anything, you don't have to play by the rules which is why it's one of the best games out.

    Ugh I keep running out of space and having to dump weapons, I hate the weight rule in this game, like seriously.. Other than that fallout 4 is the bomb!

      +qυεεη #RNS Same here, it's best to follow number 16 and store junk in your craftstation, that helped me a little.

      ***** Yep that's what I plan on doing but I just kinda wish that weight limit was none existent in this game lol, it irks me when I'm slowed down.

    • @justd7320
      @justd7320 Před 8 lety

      qυεεη #RNS I hope a fallout 4 mod comes out that removes the weight limit on armor and weapons.
