I have been eyeing the decal sheets from Live Resin for the camo pattern for a while, and I am so glad you covered this in your video. I like the idea of using the sponge to apply the colors to the gear. Please keep these great videos coming!!!
Hi Bear, lovely model. Like the Live resin stuff, just impossible to locate here in the UK. Yes your correct, the only way to paint figures is practice, practice and more practice. Looking forwards to the next episode.
Hey great video, loved the decals, the process and the videography! Looks clear and lit great. The models came out really superb. Keep up the good work mate! Cheers!
Hi, I find your videos to be very interesting, and you also show great care with your builds that I find refreshing. I do have a queston, you feature a number of modern Russian military vehicles so what is the green paint color used on modern vehicles. All the kits I have built display different paints and a mixture of green colours. Who makes the definitive paint and best match. Regards, Davd Porter, London
Hi, great tutorial. I was bit sceptical regarding decals, but that came really good. I see u using galleria matt varnish, any thoughts about that (need to bi diluted, resistance on weathering email/oil products, resistance on scratches)??
yes i started using the galleria varnish on recommendation from my good friend Sash from St Petersburg. I apply it neat no dilution but understand it can be diluted maybe with water or alcohol? seems a very resilient varnish because it is acrylic and certainly when i used on su-33 and Hercules no problems with oil or enamel washes.
Heck with that lol try splattered dots of paint using the old brush and toothpick method at this scale should look pretty convincing? I really just wanted to see what the live resin stuff was like in real life to the amazing cad images you Normally only get to see, as been told there pretty crappy but they look good! Think it was more the weapons and crows n weapons systems that were ment to be poor only one way find out really eh
Quality presentation. I think I follow you too much. I'm getting also this Kamaz. Question: where do I buy this liveResin in europe? On their site they have no shop. Thank you I really appreaciate all your videos
Hi Iulian ! big thanks for taking time to watch the videos ! I am not to sure where you can ovtain liveresin in Europe... it may be necessary to contact them directly.
Excellent stuff! Lots of useful info, esp' on digital camo decals. Tip = for weapons straps use lead foil. Verliden did 1:35 attachments for weapons slings. Eduard & Masterstill do. I recommend them, esp fit MG42's = they make a huge difference. It's such a shame Dragon stopped their Gen2 1/35 figures as they had all of this stuff, as well as decals, etc in such sets.
thank you glad you find the videos useful 👍 yes i remember using lead foil as in verlinden books. If you are interested we have a community group on Patreon... i have weekly vlog videos and lots of extra content there.
Супер! Красавчик! За ВДВ!!!!!!
Спасибо большое вам !
These live Resin figures are amazing and you have done a brilliant job of bringing them to life 👍🏻🇦🇺
Great video with good and interesting demonstrations. Very interesting with the decals. Great result, Mark.
Have a nice weekend. Greetings, Joachim
