*they're such
I'll let myself out..
insult?
Lmao "If you really wanna catch fish *just throw live bait*"
True!😂
Lawson you out did yourself with this video. I’m primarily a fresh water fisherman looking to get into saltwater so this was CRUCIAL. You broke this down great and made it super easy to understand for even people who have never fished.✊🏼
Very cool basic intro about saltwater fishing. The one thing you left out is how many thousands of dollars they are gonna spend once they get pretty good at it!!!😎
Haha so true
Lawson Lindsey I bet I have more money wrapped up in fishing gear than my car and I have 2018 GLS 450 Benz😳
True! I am blessed to have married a woman that loves fishing as much as myself so fishing gear goes un questioned. Hunting gear and guns is a whole other story though!😂
jay johnson no one cares what you drive dude 😂
Zayy MW why you so butt hurt buddy I was just trying to show how much some people spend on fishing gear....relax you'll be OK😂
Thank you! I’ve searched high and low for this info and you have it all in 1 video. Beautiful edits and great voiceover. Keep up the great work! You’ve gained a new fan
Super informative and comprehensive. Really hard to squeeze a beginners guide into a 10 min video without leaving something out! Awesome man!
Thanks, Lawson! I got into fishing a few months back and am still taking the complexity of the sport in! Loving your videos :)
Very cool! Thanks for breaking down all details for us! Well thought out and delivered! Much appreciated!
Love your videos man, and this was so cool with the edits and super helpful. Thanks!!!
This video sure is a coincidence to me, mainly because I’ve been doing research to buy fishing gear for saltwater and bam here comes this stud video. Been fishing freshwater my whole life and seeing your videos get me stoked to do some inshore saltwater fishing man! Thanks for the information “mah dawg” oh and please bring back that outro song!
Now this is a video I’ve been looking for the longest about beginning saltwater fishing because I’m trying to go on a week vacation and go out to the coast and fish! But I have no experience in salt water fishing and nor do I have experience about what to do and what to use, thank you so much for this video, came in so much handy!
Thanks for the tips, been watching your videos for a while now and still enjoy them!
this video helped my sons learn everything I couldn't teach them in a methodical and academic way. Thanks a million and keep it up!!
Love the passion you have for fishing. Usually watch your snook videos but this one hit different. Great video.
Great video to get what I hope might be a series of videos explaining precisely how to fish for different species and all the tons of tips, tricks, and techniques you use to get bit by your target species. Please keep videos like this coming, but out on the water. This way you can give a better demonstration of each lure type and fish type, etc. Thanks Lawson. Really enjoyed this video.
Great video Lawson! Shared this with a few friends
Bro, good to see you take a step back and break down some basics. Great video
I honestly love watching your videos, such good content and knowledge! Keep it up man
High quality stuff right here ! Great job 🤙
Wow. That was good. Production awesome. Education and encouragement terrific. Long time viewer and it’s been a great trip. And my dog does that too!
Great video Lawson. Thanks for the guide
Nice, Lawson. Loved the vibe on this one.
This video is amazing keep it up Lawson
Awesome info broken down for even the most newbie fisherman. I'm about to get that battletek rod as soon as I can find it somewhere available. Everyone seems to be out of them
Love watching these to refresh myself on the basics instead of worrying about every complicated piece
Really like this style of video. Keep it up brother!
I am going for some fishing this weekend. Needless to say, at the moment I suck at it. Thank you for this video, it really is good timing for me :)
I learned more from that video than I do from a whole year of school 😂 love the videos man keep up the good work
Thanks for sharing the knowledge!
Seriously great video. Amazing
Very well done. Experience is the best teacher, & listen to the truly experienced fishermen/fisherwomen, because they will also teach the lost art of being respectful to others & the environment! Last line is great, remember, fishing is supposed to be fun. Thanks Lawson!
Love the vids. Heading out o to some saltwater soon and your vids are very helpful thankyou
Dang Lawson, you killed this vid. I considered doing this on my channel but I'll probably just send people to your video. 👊🏾
Very instructive for us newer guys to FL
Great vid Lawson I’m sure it gets tough keeping up with a regular schedule of posting especially during the summer between heat, rain, wind etc but hang in there you put out great content and I’m always excited to see when you put up a new vid

Good vid lawdawgie
you sir have video producing by the gonads! By far superior quality to anyone I subscribe to. Moving to the gulf in about 11 months from NE Tennessee, will be watching this one many more times I am sure. Been a sub for about 4 years now. Enjoy all your videos. What ever happened to the lake you were building at your parents new place?
1. The videos lately have been absolute next level
B. Thank you for teaching us your way!
3. I’ve been telling you for years to do “how to” videos.
• Keep it up, Brotha! You’re killing it! And I mean that literally. The brotha part. Because, you know...
RIP white rod. She was a beauty. Keep up the amazing work. When you put time and effort into making videos, this is the quality work you get!

I needed this vid years ago
Dude you’re such a great fisherman I live near your area we should fish sometime!
So happy you did this. I love you Chanel, I send all my friends to your Chanel. Even in my Facebook group Daytona Redfish and Snook club, we talk about you alot what you throwing and using is a big talking pint
Summer time twitch bait top water season🤙🏽
Solid mission statement.
Thanks for this video dz
Love it
If you had to pick a rod and reel setup for your favorite/majority of the fishing you do, what size rod/reel, lbs test lines and 2 or 3 baits/lures are you grabbing?? I’ve done plenty of fishing but maybe this would help someone get started or pointed in the right direction. Love the videos!
Holy crap Lawson’s baby pics are the cutest thing I’ve ever seen 😭😭😭 (apologies to my own kids lol)
Okay now it’s time to watch and learn.
Thank you daddy Lawson for some succulent tips
I wish lawson would fish sebastian inlet sometime soon
I learned more in this one video about fishing than I have learned in the past 6 months
tysm
Thanks
Best rod for all saltwater of fresh water fishing personally for me is a daisy beefstic
awsome
Good stuff! I had asked before about your reel and rod maintenance in salt water...?
I've been using Penn Battle 2's for 3 years now and all I do is hose them off with freshwater EVERY TIME I get back. They work flawlessly! I once forgot to rinse a cheaper real my buddy had dropped into the saltwater, I was locked up 2 days later, and it was new. Salt is HIGHLY corrosive and Attracts moisture. Salt destroys EVERYTHING! Just hose them off.
Nice video
When you dog jumped in I lost it, 😆 I've allways wondered if that would happen! So I used to spend more on my reels then my rods, but switching from bass fishing to inshore I've been spending more on my rods recently, reels like the penn fierce and battle have been holding up then I'll grab a st Croix rod. But you obviously fish 10x more then me so I guess time will tell with those reels around 100$. I haven't tried toadfish rods yet tho. There cheaper.
This is so helpful bro I’m moving to Panama City we should link
LETTTSS GOOOOOOOO
Great video, man. You go over the basics pretty well. Although, I'd say that the rod is more important than the reel.
30-40% on the reel
60-70% on the rod
JMHO.
Gotta disagree with you man, the quality of the reel you use is so much more important because of smoothness, drag, line capacity and overall life span of the product
I agree with the rod being more important! Although I use Ci4s I’m much more concerned with what rod I’m using and how it performs.
Love the videos every day is a new adventure. Are planning to do any more lures giveaways because my bag with my lures got stolen 😞🤦♂️
Yeeeeheeee🤙
What is your go to rod & reel brand ? For a spinning reel?
Nice video man! I have a suggestion: it seems whacky but try and get into making some tiktok videos where u give advice/answer questions and post cool clips from nice catches, this will get a lot of attention from a different crowd and it’ll help the channel grow
This is like every saltwarer fisherman's bible. Would have saved me HUGE amount of time of i knew this while back but i learned everything the hard way 😂
You should do more videos like this
What do you think about using baitcasters in saltwater ?
Muchas gracias por tus videos me encantan💯💯💯👍 no se escrivir english lo ciento
