Hesitate to offer any type of criticism but the rolling feed done right sounds like buh buh buh...buh buh buh buh... buh buh...random.
Ticka ticka is a sound made when they're flying. Took me decades to get the right guy to explain it just right. A huge raft of ducks sounds like buh buh...... try it. Youll see.

What can u contribute them coming in later in the day to? Ive killed birds later in the day, but not always know why they came later. Weathe? Full moon? High/ low water? Any idea?
duvks are usually most active 2 hours after sunrise and two hours before. They loaf in the middle of the day. It might have a lot to do with pressure. If a spot doesn't get hunted in the evenings, ducks will figure that pattern out until they get busted out of it
