The dude clearly has experience with lows and blocking. A year ago I tried made my way 45 degrees up from a ditch through a three feet of wet snow this way. It was Dec 19, 2022 And I almost drove out, I felt sorry for the tires, they started to burn. And my tires are not the same as here. I usin' A/T spiketyres 18" I mean, I have a Hummer 3 too. In Russia.
Are you still running the factory rear axle? Any mods to it if yes? Also, was the dude in the jeep the guy from So-cal who had the SAS'd H3 who did KOH recovery every year? He looks familiar for some reason.
Yea factory rear, just a spring over and re geared to match the front, 4.88. I did add aftermarket axle shafts that are stronger than oem. And yea that's Chris Paul in the jeep, you are correct he does normally drive his sas'd h3 and yes he does yhe koh recovery
What trim lvl is that hummer? HDX, luxury or adventure? I think that is all the trim lvls.. really I want to know if it is an adventure with the locking difs…
I have h3 adventure package but it's just sitting on the driveway. I don't drive it because I drive company vehicle all the time . Nothing wrong with it. Leather inside, sunroof, power windows, rear camera, rear Lock differential, head rest screen. But no time to enjoy it
The suspension setup is a solid axle swap in the front with a gm dana 44. And a spring over in the rear. The door is made from a junkyard h3 door that I cut and welded a top plate to it. As far as the overheating goes. I've never really had any engine or transmission heating issues, airflow is key. I did install a remote transmission cooler and that keeps things very cool. There is a ton of more information on my build thread here : hummer4x4offroad.com/forum/threads/cgalpha08s-build.1240/page-12
The H3 did great, it looks almost stock, you can even see the flimsy front shocks compared to the ones the Jeep is using. It would be interesting to know how the H3 would do with upgrades like the Jeep. Bigger tires, higher lift, Pro-suspension upgrades.
I'd like to see a Hummer H3 with the stock front axel and stock front and rear lockers do this. I wish there were more H3 videos like this on CZcams.
Thanks for posting H3 content, solid quality video.
Excellent content by the way! Been into RC crawlers for years n have been dying to start a 1/1 build and a h3 is on the list
Well done brother. Excellent wheelin’
Thanks man!
That was super badass!!!
Wish you could have been there with us!
Great job man!
Thanks!
Nice job. Took my H2 there. A lot of fun.
Oh nice!! Did you go through the whole trail?
Very nice!
hell yea! nice work
Thanks!
With 2 inch lift the H3 would be just as good. 😊
Was the SAS a kit? What did the front axle come out of and how well does it fit?
The Hummer H3 ontheven video has a solid front axle, normally this car has a different independent front suspension

このH3はフロントアクスルがリジット式になってるのかな?
