One of the best pieces of advice mentioned (that will lead to more success) is STICK WITH THIS CHANNEL. 💯👌🤝 🎯
Im sure so many, if not all of us, would agree that DD’s channel/the way he teaches, brings real RESULTS when the work is put in.
I always mention Dave & this channel when someone asks me anything about how to throw darts ETC… 🎯
Oh and the Biggest TRUTH mentioned is that ive completely fell in love with playing darts! 😅 life has been great being able to practice & watch myself greatly improve each day.
Thanks for the videos. I've gone from 29 average to today averaging 61 for 3 legs. For me that's progress, I've always been a fan of the darts but never bothered to play, loving it
Just started about a month ago mate, I was getting frustrated, but came across your channel last night at work. Tried the DD way today and bang things are starting to click! Brilliant job Dave.
welcome new members great video came along with u
Hi Dave, I got a dartboard for Xmas, been playing on and off for 10 years but really got back into it this time and I tell you what your videos have helped me so much, you talk so much sense, I’ve watch a hell of a lot of your vids and you talk so much sense, tried your way and kept doing it and doing it over and over, and how I’ve come along is unreal. Thank you mate you know your stuff
Thanks for all you do Dave, your system of throwing is simple, effective, easy to rectify any issues and has already seen an increase in my accuracy and averages after one formal competition night. Look forward to seeing my season results.
Thanks buddy for the message and the support its much appreciated D Dave...
Great advice, Dave!
Hi Dave. Like hit. Thanks for the tips and stuff my skill lvl has gotten a lot better since watching your vids ❤
Hi Dave. This by far is your best (for me) video so far. It really hit the nail on the head in so many ways, you would'nt believe. Maybe apart from being a good player 30 years ago, i was'nt and with an average of 25 - 30 i only filled in when the pub team was short a man. Anyway like many others i'm wanting to take it up again, only this time i want to do it right from the ground up. Watching this has made my mind up, i want to learn the proper way instead of groping around in the dark.
So i'll be getting in touch to arrange to come over for a 1 to 1 face to face. I'm in Huddersfield so should'nt be too bad for me if y,ou're still in Hyde ?
After that i hope i'll be able to follow your tuition videos more precisely, knowing that Darts are right, the technique is right it's just the practice i need ect.
Im 48 Dave just starting out...
Looking forward to my journey and my first 180 👍
if you follow my techniques and advice it wont be long buddy make sure you get the basics nailed down before you try moving it round the board. Remember the throw remains the same and we adjust at the hips. Good luck and any questions just ask all the best D Dave...
Brilliant video Meat
Top man. Love the videos
just adopted yr way after 40 yrs how long would you recomend practiceing per day
This is hard to answer..but i wanted to respond bc i have found that i practice 5-6 hours a days. Yes that is very excessive some might say.. theres times i play/practice at the pub for 8 hours but i found that im healthily obsessed with practicing. Been a solid 9 months of serious practice- it pays off BIG TIME.
Good day Dave, you technique videos are very good.
I'm seventy years old 14:09 and started playing in Nov of '23. My average is 43.
I practice everyday with the Dynamite Dave's way, how do I get my average up?
How long do you pause before your throw?
Thanks
Michael

Now that's a top question buddy and the answer is not to long it takes me about 1-2 seconds if you stand to long you will start to over think and that's the big mistake many make and it can open door to Dartitus make sure you know what your going to do before your address the oche.
As for improving your averages its all down to structured practice buddy i sell structured practice sheets to follow if your interested just email me at dj.llewellyn123@outlook.com and i will get you fixed up with some.
Cheers D Dave...
Do you agree that if your aiming for say double 6 or say double 11 you would move an inch or two left or right with your stance some say you should always be in the middle of the oche I feel slight movement left or right depending on where your aiming on the board is a good practice would you agree with this ?
The simple answer is no you don't move your stance. Likewise standing in the middle of the oche is not an exact science either.
Look how many pros stand to the right, some way over. Then there's right handed players stand over to the left!
Its all about tuning into your own ergonomics and developing a smooth throw which is comfortable to practice for a sustained period.
I teach this see how it fits with you if your on a combo i don't move my feet i swivel from the hips like a gun turret on a tank. However if i am coming to the oche with three in hand for D11 i will set up in line with it and it makes the shot straight. hope this helps buddy D Dave...
@@DynamiteDaveLlewellyn Makes sense so basically yes and no on the combo keep the flow but there is a benefit if your fresh to the oche to line up for the shot
@@GretatheEvilGremlin The game is moving on from your old way of thinking fella. What Justin Pipe, Jockey Wilson, Dave Chisnell or even Phil Taylor did individual distinct throws are not what Luke Littler, DVB, Beau Greaves etc do now they are much more mechanical throws. Change is inevitable and there is no improvement without it. Cheers D Dave...
@@DynamiteDaveLlewellyn did someone mention Tanks lol. Ex 4/7th Royal Dragoon Guards here, from the 80's, now sadly disbanded.
Hi Dave. Do you answering on emails? I’ve send you over week ago and still can’t see reply
