the cow home teleport has a 3x3 area that can trap npcs. so if needed you can have an alt account spam cast that teleport and you have a safe zone around you at anywhere you can cast the home teleport spell. i would recomend doing this only if you're soft locked behind some content and the alternative would take away from the series
@@samtjman plenty of people would kill (literally) to be that level of infamous. It's a bad idea, you will not find 1999 honest people without a single person trolling for the luls or to be "part of the series" or whatever.
This is your best challenge yet. Because while the others had risks, this one is the only one where my butthole is PERMANENTLY CLINCHED the entire episode, just waiting for one tiny, single, unexpected oversight to deal 1 damage and wipe out hundreds of hours of work. And even better, the longer this series goes, the MORE dangerous it gets (not less) because of the potential loss of time, and 1 damage always still being fatal at any point.

It’s so odd to me that people give the quest helper plugin grief, but will use quest guides to get them done. And honestly with as many hours as he has put into the game I would never touch it without the plugin
Would be cool to see a series-specific plugin with the ability to run a live hit chance calculation on any selected NPC, similar to the drop table plugin but just calculating your defense stats against its offense stats.
The npc aggression timer plugin would be huge for this account. It shows you exactly where you can and cannot step to reset agro. This could allow you to safely utilize the shayzient giant pit.
I’m gonna say I used to play this game religiously back in the day never tried Ironman before but watching you attempt these challenges it made me eager to play again and start an Ironman and I will say it’s so exhilarating when you farm up enough to get your first item shop thanks for this series and showing that osrs is still alive and well
I have to say I'm loving this series so far - the combination of episode length / pacing, release schedule and sheer absurdity of the challenge is taking me right back to January 2019 when I first started watching you :)

I don't even play RS anymore and yet these videos got me glued to the edge of my seat. This is the most exciting and scary gaming I've seen in some time. No hit runs on the dark souls series are the only thing I can vaguely compare it to and even that feels less consequential.
Settled, I havent played Runescape since middleschool, and yet your channel and content is something I've watch (Swampman twice lol) religiously. This new series seems to be off the charts! I love how you keep finding ways to challenge yourself and how pleasant it is to watch you. You can just feel the excitement trough the screen, that is a rare ability! Keep going and doing crazy stuff!
If every point of magic counts, then you might consider one of the Gnomish Wizard Hats - it's easily overlooked, but they actually have an extra point of magic attack and defense over the standard wizard hat!
A lot of people also don't know about the Maze trick to just loot the chests repeatedly for a large variety of different rewards. I don't remember who but i think an area locked ironman account (yanille locked?) did it to get a lot of useful runes.
A lot of the area locked guys do this but first time I saw it was the Dwarf Mine Locked dude. After he published it everyone else started doing it. Definitely not worth it for Settled as he can buy elemental runes easily and it takes 1h40 for the entire process
If you're interested in burying bones for 43 prayer, you can bury bones in the edgeville dungeon as there is a spawn of 4 (used for the demon slayer speedrun) in a safe area, however you may have to pass a skeleton to get to it.
These episodes are so engaging that it feels like I only just started watching it by the time it ends. Looking forward to every new episode and I hope it goes the distance as the content is phenomenal
I suggest enhancing the Heat Map by transitioning the color from red to green either at the conclusion of each episode or when you reach a specific Combat Level. This change could signify reaching a point where you no longer need to concern yourself with specific monsters in an area. It would add an enjoyable visual element to illustrate the progression of your account. Can't wait to see Phase 1 completed - this is the best series in a while on CZcams!

I just couldn’t help but roll my eyes at the first kill rune chainbody drop. 😂 Sometimes I swear content creators are on easy mode, but then I remember how dry you went on Swampletics on Guthan’s 2 and I know it evens out Here’s too many more episodes of Nightmare Mode. Just WALKING is edge of your seat content. Amazing concept and amazing editing. Keep it up!!
Love the series thus far. For the dogs tasks, you can stand at the fence, where the guard dog gets stuck a little north east of where you were standing, so you can kill 2 dogs very easy. It's not the most optimal, but it'll speed up your tasks a bit.
That's likely much worse overall than just killing Seagulls (since at least this also gives some Combat XP in the process). Telegrabbing will waste a lot of time on the GP, and he then has to buy a lot of Laws, as well.
Rough calcs: From 15 to 43 prayer he'd need ~3.2k big bones, so ~3.2k law runes. Each law rune from mage arena is 240gp, +0.1% per missing stock. Buying 50 at a time then hopping would cost ~12300, so all the law runes required would cost at most 800k gp. So this alone doesn't actually seem _too_ unreasonable, depending on whether he can find a risk free decent money maker. The things that make this slightly less attractive are that 1) he also has to get the runes to kill ~3.2k giants: avg ~9 casts of fire strike in current gear, 7gp a cast = ~200k gp, and 2) the only byproduct for all of this time is more magic xp, which isn't too useful unless he decides to mage the fight caves. On the flip side, if he can get to the ectofunctus then that's only ~800 bones (
You could always do forestry to train prayer without damage. The ent events always give a bird egg for completion, which can be offered in the woodcutting guild for 100 prayer xp each

Don't rely on the heat map a little too much. It overlooks things that can do damage but aren't technically npcs like the trees near Draynor Manor.

If there were any a time you were forced to run past a single NPC that you can't pray against, you could always snare/bind it to run past safely
