I love real opinions and criticism about kpop . Especially about singing,dancing, fashion, and stage presence and performance it’s super interesting to see a professionals perspective
The music too like instrument
When I first heard of this song without translation I was like why they're getting too cheeky on their dance compare to the cool vibes of the song, and I realized it's just them mocking all the stereotypes when actually they just wanna be themselves. Probably explains the monkey swag and chicken moves. It's like fuk it, you'll like everything we'll do because we're still the superstars that kind of thing. That makes the performance for this song is so unique compare to the rest of the kpop dance I watched.

I love this, as a kpop fan it’s hard to find people that give a genuinely good input of how they feel about it wether it’s the music, choreo, or music video.
Wakey wakey would be interesting to see them watch but regardless this was nice.
Also when it came to how win win pointed his foot, he was actually a student in one of China’s most prestigious traditional dance school so it bleeds through and he still occasionally shows snipets of it. I would love for them to see more of that like with his cover of lovely with ten which is choreographed by them and is kinda contemporary, but chances are that it would get copyrighted.

"Cherry bomb" as well as some other nct's (and sm int. in general) dances was choreographed by Tony Testa. He is that person who worked with MJ, Disney and many other famous names as far as I know.
also two members of nct named Ten and WinWin made a choreography together to the song Lovely its really good, nct actually has a channel called nct dance where they used to(not as frequent anymore they mostly use their main channels) upload a bunch of freestyles and small dance clips. This group is PACKED with amazing dancers and I cant wait to see u react to more of them and the other units. Also if u are curious u could check out the music videos as well bc kpop music videos are always insane with the visuals and concepts they almost always have storylines but I really hope u enjoy reacting to them even if u just stick to the dancing aspects!! Also there is a series a fan that is a ballerina started here on CZcams where she analyzes the nct members from a ballerinas perspective if u want to check that out to(she hasn't done all members I believe she has done 3-4 so far). There is so much talent in nct I cant wait to see u all analyze their dances
also the music videos might give u a more clear idea of the concept and feeling the choreography is trying to display but it is up to u I will still enjoy the dance practice reactions:)

Even with all their newer releases, this is still my favorite song and choreography. Mark’s rap is just tasty and Haechan’s little leg move. Their 7th sense is great too.

another fun fact about the move where they slide to the floor - there is a video of the dude in the middle (Taeyong) doing that on the streets of New York (they participated in a so called random play dance with fans), in $$$ of drip.. that’s dedication y’all :D

I agree that the choreography matches the song. Not only is it swag but it's also silly (if you're happy & you know it clap your hands) and some of the choreo is lighthearted and humorous like the chicken and monkey dances.

14:16-14:32 Winwin is a classically trained dancer. He really has beautiful technique. You should check out his duet with Ten; it is really beautiful.
14:28 "He is probably singing." Unfortunately, he does not get many lines.
A lot of KPOP dances have repetitive moves. It is usually their "point" dance.

The one around 14:18 you mentioned who looked like he was about to do something technical? That's WinWin and he is classically trained in traditional Chinese dance at the Beijing Dance Academy. He ranked first in his class in classical dance. His dance is acrobatic and sort of ballet and just graceful as hell. :)

I recommend 7th sense by Nct U. Some people say that it is one of the hardest kpop coreograpys to get down because the way the movements are in the dance. Btw loved the video, it's nice to see people who give honest reactions instead of just trying to cater to the fans.

And as a NCT fan I would like to add that this choreography did not age well. It was good for the year it came out but 4 years later its lacking to where we are today, not only in the kpop world but in the dance world as a whole.
