    Will your degree be recognized as valid in places other than France? I am wanting to get my degree abroad, for the financial relief, but I am hoping to be able to have a degree that can be seen as accredited internationally.

    Hello, I also speak French and am planning to study at a French university. My question is did you just need to do the B2 for the DELF? So you skipped the other levels or did you have to do A1,A2, B1 as well? Also can you tell us more about how you prepared for the DELF, books, tests, was it hard?.. Thank you for the video so helpful!

    • @hot_damn99
      @hot_damn99 Před 2 lety +2

      yup, you can go straight to B2, all the test take place individually. I have a C2 from when I was in eigth grade (13/14 y/o) and I never did my A1/2 or C1. I actually took preparation classes at school and we did lots of talking and writing there. The test consists of three or four parts I believe and one of them is conversation, so be prepared for that. Reading in french can also help a lot for better comprehension

    Starting in Fall 2023, if you study in French at a DLI outside of greater Montreal area, tuition of your entire degree will be reduced to $3,000 CAN per year. Eligible fields are IT, engineering, social and health service, education (including early childhood education). Quebec has allocated $80 million CAD for this program. Also, you can work up to 20 hours per week while studying (provided your study permit saying so in writing).

      @@jannatulferdaus_ Sorry that I misunderstood your question. Quebec uses universities and colleges as gate keepers. By taking TEF or TCF, it shows your level of French proficiency. If you get accepted by an eligible rural institution, then you are okay. Look for "Exemption from differential tuition fees depending on the program of studies and the region" for more information. Eligible universities include University of Quebec, University of Sherbrooke, and Laval University. In Quebec, colleges (CEGEP) are prep schools for universities; high school graduation at Grade 11, followed by 2 years of CEGEP, and then 3-4 years of university.

    I've been thinking of doing this for two years now, but I held back because of my French insecurities and my age. I finished high school in 2019 and since had 2 gap years. Not only that, but I really want to enroll in a university in France but is it weird to enroll in a bachelor (L3) while being 21 ("almost" 22 in April) while one's classmates are around the age of 17-19. btw I'm Scandinavian so being 21 and entering uni (bachelor) is really normal.
