Many have referred to LaMelo Ball as basketball's most "well-known mystery" over the years. Despite literally growing up under the spotlight of the hoops world, many questions remained about how the youngest Ball brother would perform in the league... until he stepped on the court and let his game do the talking.

I used to walk my dog right by their house in Chino Hills many years back when they were very young..They would be playing basketball day and night in their backyard basketball court..I could hear them hustling blood,sweat,and tears..so glad to see their hard work payed off.

With Lamelo Ball, the Hornets are so entertaining to watch. Who cares if they don't win a championship? I love watching them.

Say what you will about Levar Ball, but as a father, the man should write a book on how to raise strong, talented boys. No doubt their mother had a lot to do with it, balancing the family energy and all that. Melo is a great player, can't wait to see how the story ends.

@raymond scott That's on Lavar too. He chose Tina as his wife to create the ultimate genetics his 6'6 Frame as well as an Athletic factor. Furthermore the fact that she would be a sports mom, that would allow him to push their sons and not baby them. A wife that would enjoy spending time at the gym. So having spousal support to nurture and raise Professional athletes took a combined effort of both parents. Which all started with Lavar and his plan that involved picking Tina.

So glad I never gave up on the ball brothers despite having half the league shitting on them. Proud as hell fr they’ve worked so incredibly hard for what they have. Tina and Lavar raised some good kids despite them being raised in the lime light damn near. Was worried Lamelo was gonna get too cocky and burn out before he could even reach college. Never been so glad to have been wrong in my life 🙏🏼

When I found out that LaMelo Ball went third in the draft I knew he got picked too low, that he should've been the first pick. He proved I was right when he won Rookie of the Year.
Lamelo is what charlotte needed. He single handed put them in the spotlight. Even if they lost, even in blowouts, people were still talking bout what’s going on in buzz city. Hope he stays and rides it out and wins a championship with the hornets… lamelo has brought life to this city and it’s hella exciting to watch. Win or lose I’ll ride for this team till the end. Where all the lamelo haters at now? He earned his respect by the looks of it huh?
I have a feeling he will be the greatest Hornets player of all time and he will eventually have the highest rating for the All-Time Charlotte Hornets team in NBA 2K.
All he needs to do is keep it up now. If he is consistent, he will be next Kobe, LeBron, MJ.

But, I have to say without a doubt, NONE can compare to the expertise and excellent job that you did with yours! None others came even close to the level and standard of your finished work. Very professional, very interesting, not a single dull moment of film or script throughout; from beginning to end. Not for even a single frame. All the action shots were there, all the best and important facts and moments of his past b-ball experiences to his best and present highlights and history, were covered. Your narrative was sophisticated and clear. I am sure that when Melo viewed this film, he was honored and proud of the way you portrayed his entire Rookie NBA Season. I have been a LaMelo Ball fan back to the days when I watched that tall, lanky, and ever so scrawny kid wonder play High School ball against my Grandson and his High School Team. Melo was Incredible then; and is Magical now. Thank you for the time and care you've taken to produce a film with such great Taste. I am proud of you.
