You’re right, amidia. Patents shouldn’t argue about whether or not to pay for their own children. But some of the crappiest humans I know - all of them proud SovCits - are forever talking my ear off about contracts they didn’t consent to and illegal court orders with no subject matter jurisdiction and maritime law and all kinds of irrelevant nonsense.
All of them convinced that at their next hearing, they’ve got it! They’ve found the magic word that no one’s ever found before, and they’ll win! (SPOILER:They never win, and there is no magic word.)

(Unless mom or dad doesn’t fight for support) I get it can be unfair sometimes. We do. This court is like a rare unicorn. I've NEVER seen or been in Child Support Court with this level of communication. They rarely even let Father's talk.

I feel bad for Mr. Tullis, he seems like a decent guy.
Exactly. He's hardworking, has a tough but honest job (ramper or mechanic for Delta, it looks like?), probably making enough money to survive but not enough to really get ahead, while having primary or full custody of his son.
His baby's momma just tries to game the system, because she knows that if she pays even a week of child support every time she gets a court hearing, it will help reset the clock and help keep the court off her back. Judge Manning can clearly see all that and isn't having it one bit.
I know I shouldn't judge (but I do), but baby mama is likely spending at least $500 per month on her box braid extensions and nails, while not paying money to support her own child.
I got a one-time payment of $1,100 from my ex for our son. I cut my own hair and have never had a mani-pedi in my life.
My son is disabled, and he's 30 now and lives with me. He gets about $800 per month in SSI, and that's the first time I've had financial support for him.

Why on earth does that lady think that a computer system trumps what is ruled on in court. The purpose of the hearing is to update the arrears based on evidence. The computer system is just there to reflect previous arrears. That lady just doesn’t want to accept the truth.
Sounds like my ex when he couldn’t understand why he had to pay 25 dollars ( arrears) more then what’s on court orders. Like 🤯 To catch up on the arrears! 🤦♀️ 😂

He didn't say he was living with her currently. He said his mail is going to her house because he lived with her prior. It's not hard to comprehend. He also didn't say he was giving her food stamps. He said she was receiving food stamps for him.. as in he's on her case from when they did live together. Meaning she's illegally receiving food stamps for him bc he's not a member of the household.
Plus they are not married.

She clarified, "were you giving her your own food stamps?" and he said yes. That's why the judge said it's illegal and doesn't count towards CS.

He said the paperwork is going to her address because that’s the address they have for him from when he WAS living there. He wasn’t living with her during all this. Y’all must not have heard him clearly … he said “from when we WERE living together” not that they ARE living together. That’s why she can’t get ahold of him to try settling their situation with the CS case.
Never heard of a court asking if the father needs help paying child support before they start the threats of jail and license revoking

Let's face it, if Judges Manning strictly held people in her court accountable for abiding by court rules and decorum, she'd do one day of court and then have it followed by a week of contempt hearings. Poor judge is herding cats and trying to preserve decorum the best she can while still getting through her docket.

I like how the judge keeps them in line. I watched another video and both parents were train wrecks and were disrespectful. the father kept walking around and being rude and the mom just dropped off the call. That judge allowed that through the entire hearing.

The best part of Zoom court is getting to see all these crazy personalities in action-the worst part is no contempt for people that really have earned a little incarceration. The unmute battle was suspenseful, I wasn't sure who would break first. Five stars.

We sat in the Support court and I crap you NOT 😂one defendant owed $38,988.98 to his ex-wife...He never once attempted to pay... refused to get a job! Told Judge to have a F**king CURSED day! My jaw hit my chest!😂
I never went after my son's father because he owes about 100k to other women. He hid it from me when they went after him for CS, because they only went after him thinking we were married and that MY income/savings would get them more money. (We were never married and that's not how it works anyway)

These family court cases are ridiculous. My ex & I avoided all that because we both knew we loved our daughter more than the anger, frustration or disappointment we had or felt towards each other. We were all fine. Unfortunately the man I later became involved with did not have that happen with his ex. YEARS of court battles ensued over child custody, child support and even an attempt to get a court order to allow her to determine how much cheese their son ate...😒 So glad his kids are grown & we don't have to get dragged to court on every stupid thing she could think of bringing up. After listening to so many ex's battling in court while waiting for my fiancée case to come up I totally get why these judges & court officers seem tired & fed up with some of these folks.
These cases are always a mess. Emotions run high. You are mature enough to handle it with your ex. My brother did the same thing. the courts were out of his divorce. he has custody of my niece. I helped him raise her. Its hard for a man to teach a little girl how to go to the bathroom. There is no way I was going in with her. I had to give it to her step by step, then she figured it out. Also, you have to give her the steps, but keep it G rated and kid friendly.

He told them he would not do that because his ex will accuse him later of sexually abusing their daughter. These women are so screwed up.

I think his questions where valid. Hes simply asking the court if they'll toss her ass in jail for non-payment of CP as fast as they'd throw his ass in jail if the tables where turned. It's highly unlikely The Division of CP will treat her the SAME way they'd treat him. It's a unfair system.

When the tables are turned and the Father rightfully so has full custody, the courts are so behind the eight-ball and remiss. Many years ago, traditionally, unless sickenly obvious, the Mother always received full custody of the Children. You rarely see a dime back from arrears. They play the game & if they don't care, they Don't. My Brother went through this & so have I.
