about this adventure:
Weeks 2 and 3 were a little more chill and a little quicker since we had to head back to the house for my job. We spent our time exploring Elmer's Island a little more bank fishing and time on the beach. The beach is nicer in our opinion over here than behind the island (and can be a ghost town in the off season). The water was warm enough to swim in by now so the kids were getting braver each week. We also cooked up some delicious trout for poboys and just soaked in island life as much as could.

Did you fish elmers in the surf? Were others out there catchinf?

All off the bank in the marsh. Not much action in the surf. Saw 1 person set up but didn’t catch and 1 person crabbing.
