I don't know who told you products are meant to be used and abused and still work like new. But most things need to be cared for to be usable or like new for a long time.
I have the yeti gallon. I haven’t had any problems with mine, I’ve had mine for a while now I don’t think it’s been a year yet but I love my gallon jug. I usually put reusable ice cubes in it along with a reusable ice pack and it keeps it pretty cool after 2 days and a half. I really wanna put it to the test by filling it up with ice and water and leave it in my stepdads car for 4 or 5 days to see if it stays cool. But since it’s a thermos along with other brands in gallon jugs I suspect that it’ll stay cool for more than 3 days. Im thinking about getting the Rtic gallon jug but my mom will kill me if another gallon jug showed up lol but yea sorry for going on this rant it’s a great product
This is the one I want to get to hold 4 beers at a time. If you're having trouble opening/closing the caps, check the black rubber ring gasket. If that comes off its tracks on the cap, it won't seal properly.
Dude!! The same thing happened with my first chug cap, after about 3 months. The same inside thread that made it not stick on. Got it back in December 22.
Exactly my thoughts. It's probably punctured. Additionally, those dents look superficial. YETI uses thick 316L SS Metal and you will have to pound it with a hammer to achieve such dents. I own a 4RUNNER and have used and abused it in 4x4 offroading in mud, rocks, mountains, swamps and I don't dents nowhere deep and big as in this YETI Cup. (Mind you, automotive panels are not Hardened Stainless steel but 0.0005mm flimsy shit metal.) I call bullshit. This dude is lying. I have an aluminum suitcase that's all dented up and that's because baggage handlers are hard on luggage.
I found a yeti like this at the gym. I'm researching. Is it better for hot or better for cold. Can someone describe me the construction materials.. I see the glass lid. is that the only glass part? Or is there glass in the thermos part. Did you know the mouthpiece screws off and the lid screws off
@@lukelittle2065 ya I don’t either. While they say dishwasher safe.. I find I notice a decrease in insulation ability as soon as I have ever dishwashed a yeti.
Thank y’all for watching! Hope I helped with some insight on this product
Thanks for the video I’m thinking of purchasing one
I think the ice retention was diminished by the dings and dents ruining the vacuum.

I’ve never messed up any of my chug caps before but I’ve also never used mine as a wheel chock for tanks or a target at the rifle range either.
Wheel chock for a tank lmao

love yeti & Stanley
Is the vacuum punctured ? I wonder why it doesn’t hold cold for so long anymore..

Sounds like the vaccuum plug inside might have come loose.
That should have been covered under warranty.
