- We went to a restaurant in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico for breakfast This is a town on the Texas/Mexico border. My wife and I always have a great time. We love the food and the service. The name of the restaurant is Rene's. I highly recommend it. This video took place on May 18, 2022.

Are there today, very good free nachos. Husband had a cinnamon roll that was very good. Good coffee. Never had French fries with breakfast. Good wait.

That street market looks like an excellent place to get a good deal on a Halloween costume. I think I saw a few for sale. Good to know!
I think you saw the Día de los Muertos(Day of the Dead) clothing. It's celebrated on November 1 and 2 every year. We call it All Saints Day and All Souls Day. It coincides with Halloween. It's a celebration for the dead. Usually people go to the cemetery to visit departed love ones.

Its a great place to eat, dance, drink and be merry. Love it. The only thing I don't like is the vendors being in your face in and out.
I know what you're talking about. When I go there I walk in the street because I know where I want to go because I've been there so many times.

It takes about 35 minutes to the bridge. Park the car on the US side and walk over the bridge. Paid in dollars. If I go to the other city in Mexico I have to get pesos.
