    Stainless is the way to go, my bike was running too lean initially. But the result was great in the sense that the stainless developed a lot of color. Gold throughout and then blue/ purple hear the heads... a result of lean tune, but still gave it a lot of character. Now i have the proper map and this pipe sounds awesome! Very aggressive and light years better than the bassani I replaced with the TBR comp. Your neighbors will definitely not approve... unless they ride...

    yeah bro I just added this to my DYNA yesterday. I have a Fuel moto 107 hop up and it sounds like the devil is in my motor trying to get out. Super easy install infact I did it live on FB in about 40 min total from removal to replacement. So without social media maybe 30 min. Had Vance and Hines Grenades but wanted to run defender bags and not possible with those pipes. Like the sound of the Grenades Better they were just obnoxious. but TWB seems to have more power!!! love theses pipes

    I'm looking at these in stainless and considering wrapping from the collector up to the gasket. Will that give enough protection from heat or should I install the heat shields and then wrap over those?

    I run the Comp S on my 2003 Dyna and while I do I like the exhaust it was very loud. So I installed the two brothers optional baffle which did bring it down some but I had to modify the baffle to get it down a little more. On the two brothers baffle there is a dime-sized hole opposite end of the outlet that I had to weld shut to bring the sound down just a little bit more. I think two brothers should offer more than one baffle option because the baffle they offer now doesn't bring down the sound level very much.

      +JRodzTv We haven't experienced any issues with installation personally, and we really haven't seen many broken brackets. Its confusing that you are showing two different versions of the Comp-S exhaust. The one in your mod series of videos is more of a straight shot, whereas the one in this video has a slight upsweep. Is there a signficant difference in clearance?

    Hi, I just fitted one of these to my 03 dyna.... broke the bracket on the 1st ride because the front pipe is too close and hits the frame! I had to dent the front pipe with a hammer to make enough clearance. Very average performance on the dyno with a massive torque dip from 3-3.5k rpm. Definitely do not recommend this pipe.

      I haven't run autotune yet. I've only tried the decel pop reduction on the canned map for the V&H Competition Series 2-into-1 with a high flow a/c. Everything seems snug and leak free.

    +DrewZilla I am attempting to Cafe my HD 883. I heard that this exhaust has a slight ground clearance issue. I am wondering if the burly 13" cafe shocks will help with that? I debated on a Bolt Cspec but chose the HD because well my wife said so. haha and is there going to be an issue with passenger peg placement with this exhaust? I just feel like this is the sound I want my cafe'd 883 to put out.

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  Před 7 lety

      If you take a look at our Sportster Mods Series, you'll notice that we installed this exhaust on an Iron 883 along with 13" Progressive 970 Shocks. The taller shocks do help, but Lemmy was still able to scrape the exhaust shield in aggressive cornering. For slightly more clearance, consider the similar Vance & Hines Up Sweep, Comp Series, and MagnaFlow Riot 2-Into-1 systems. The Two Brothers Comp-S as well as my other three recommendations will work with passenger pegs. -DrewZilla
