Shania first came to my attention with the come on over album I was only 18.. I would play it on a loop. Me and my mum would watch her live DVD’s constantly. My mum was my best friend. Me and my mum saw Shania in Manchester in 2004 on her UP tour. It was a dream for both of us. Sadly my mum passed away in 2012 suddenly and I’ve been bereft ever since. I saw Shania again in 2018 at the same venue in Manchester but this time my mother wasn’t with me. I cried for most of the concert. I love you Shania 💖… Thanks for the songs and the memories you’ve given me.

I think what people need to remember is that this is one song of 16. Of the other 11 tracks I've heard, there's much stronger material but this is such a light, summery and triumphant song that it makes sense to lead with. Swingin' With My Eyes Closed and Who's Gonna Be Your Girl are out and out classic Shania Twain songs. Home Now takes the classic Shania sound and pushes it, We Got Something They Don't is a triumphant love song that everyone will love, Soldier is a tender ballad that will tug at heartstrings, Roll Me On The River is a rock out song perfect for road trips. You might not like Life's About To Get Good, but I can guarantee there's something on 'NOW' for everyone!
I was sent a copy of the album on an unofficial basis, but Shania's team are aware that I do have it.
I'm just happy that she's released a double LP in the 21st Century. I expected that she would have a wealth of stuff and things to write and sing about. I wouldn't mind a cover song or two either. I always wonder: If a favorite artist has released 16 original tracks, why would ANY fan choose to purchase the "Standard Edition"? It's "The Deluxe, complete, full-length Edition" for me, Baby!

I'm Alright is lyrically like Life's About To Get Good - the verses are about Shania's pain and hurt, but then the chorus is a realisation that she's alive despite everything, and she's alright. Production wise, it builds gorgeously - it starts with an acoustic guitar and as the song goes on, strings and drums come in!

In 2014, on a family trip to DC, I discovered my then wife was having an affair during the entire marriage. I was devastated, beyond grief and sadly suicidal. My life was over, as i knew it, and jumping in front of a semi seemed logical. But at that time, GOD decided to carry me, little did I know.
Fast forward 6 years, in mid 2020, I had a heart to heart with my Father, and asked Him to bless me with the woman i deserve or bring me home to Him. I met my now wife, September 11th, 2020, and asked her to marry me on Thanksgiving that year. We married a year later on her late dads birthday and my moms birthday. I know now that God always has a plan for us, and the journey might look ugly, but with faith in Him, that plan He has always comes to life. My hope was His plan! Thank you for this song, Shania! It got me thru the difficulty of life.
