While I like the design and simplicity of the center display, I feel that the little plastic heads-up screen does not suffice.
I would like it if it had physical buttons of the previous gen, combined with the touch display of this new gen. The physical buttons on the prev gen seems more premium. The physical buttons on the new one, are too minimalistic, and a cost-cutting measure.
You should have in mind it is a 33.000€ car

I saw and sat in the new MINI yesterday and I love it! My concern for that beautiful OLED display is that OLED suffers from terrible burn in when images/text is stationary. This looks as though these images are going to be pretty static and that is going to be a real problem. OLED is beautiful but it's not for static, non moving text and image.
not always, the iPhone 14 and 15 are both oled with always on displays, and they never burn in. Burn in is caused by poor software, and for the price of a mini, id be pretty miffed if they f'ed up that bad

Agree! Physical buttons you can feel, without having to take your eyes off the road. Some things just need a proper balance of both. This whole put all functions in the touch screen, seems like a cost cutting measure, advertised as sleek and futuristic, to maximise profit. I really like the climate control buttons on the previous gen. Too bad they cut it. The gear shifter they can get rid of, automatic cars don't need a whole stick, though I do fear you may accidentally nudge it on this one.

Can we fit this on 2020 countryman?
We see an Apple Maps shortcut widget at 2:52 and the CarPlay app at 4:30. Yet you do not show this part of the multimedia system to your viewers. How does Apple Maps appear on this circular screen?
If I remember correctly from watching a lot of videos of this car, the map will not cover the entire display, but instead be squared off. Not sure if its possible to full screen the map on the display 🤷

Having working visual entertainment when the car is in motion used to be illegal. Who and when was that law changed?
The quality of Cooper is worse than that of the new countryman, and it is a Chinese car. But the information panel is quite exciting and attractive.

There will be ICE models coming to N. America in 2025. Europe will likely have them however, first, in 2024.
There will be petrol as well and I believe it will be released before the electrics
