If you care to know🤔 Angélique's mother tongue is Fon. The Èʋe and Fon people are a Gbe ethnic group closely related with slightly different mutually comprehensible languages and cultures may be grouped with Ewe, notably Adja, Oatchi, and Peda. Fon and Ewe people are often considered to belong to the same, larger grouping, although their related languages are mutually incomprehensible. All these peoples are said to have originated in the general area of Tado, a town in present-day Togo.
So chale, all I want you to know is that Angelique Kidjo singing in Ewe is no news. We all know Stonebwoy ft. Angelique is a big deal but not Angelique singing in Ewe. I think you should get your facts and sound like a well informed youtuber. Why don't you know Benin is also an Ewe domain, even a border town called Badagry in Nigeria is also part of the Ewe community. Nicephore Soglo - Former President of Benin (Ewe), Gnonnas Pedro - a Beninese musician sang this Ewe song by name Agbefêso, if they are not the same people group how is all this possible. These are just few emphasis I want you to keep in mind🥲

Angelique Kidjo…. Can speak Ewe…. It’s not the Stonebwoy influence….
She speaks Mina/Gen language…. Which is literally Ewe…. Check on that

L'Ewe est différent du Mina langue parlé par les Guin-Mina les deux langues sont parlés au Sud du Togo. Ils sont similaires mais c'est la même chose et le même peuple. Merci
