Just came back to uni after a year break. I was so burnt out then, and the change I feel now in school is crazy. Coming back after a year has made me much more confident in my ability to succeed, learn and balance life. I am still recovering from burn-out, but I am taking it one day at a time
I'm so excited for you! I've been off and on with University for the last 6 years(!!!) and only just started at an actual University and not a community college. I'm definitely one of the oldest undergrad students but I'm SO happy I made this decision for myself. I started uni in my country in 2018, it didn’t feel right, i dropped out and spent one year preparing for moving and now it’s my second year learning new language in new country. I got a scholarship, moved here and I’m finally going back to school next March after 3 years of not studying and 5 years after graduating from high school. it feels scary being an international student and the oldest one in my class, but your video is such a relief!! and all the people here who took a big break before university we’re in it together!! cant wait to see your journey and cant wait for more study content!! 🤍
I started my post-bac college class today after 3 years out of college. It’s my goal to finish the last requirements to apply to medical school. We can do this!
I used to feel like am playing catch-up in my life. My friends all graduated and it seems to me they have got it together miles than me. I went back to uni after two years, a journey i had already given up on, but damn! am so proud of my head and life space right now. i enjoy all the classes and learning has never been this enjoyable in my life and there is always that regret that '' why wasn't i focused back then'' but this situations have really added drive and purpose to my life and i feel likke i now know myself much better. I've always had this things for learning new languages, and I got this scholarship to learn Japanese so I immediately hopped onto it. I must say learning Japanese isn't easy at all, but I'm having so much fun. I just find it lonely sometimes to be so far away from family and friends 😄

Since you're in a bilingual city, do you deal with admin in french or german at uni ? Also are all of your lectures fully in English or some in german or french?

Hey, it's crazy how it seemed that way on my videos right? I didn't study well at all and barely did because my personal life was in shambles. You have no idea about what went on behind the scenes that kept me from perfoming at school that's why it seems incongruent.

In quite a few European countries it is actually quite common to start uni at the age of 20-22, due to the different school systems. So no worries ☺️
