Y’all might be the heaviest band on the internet. But this song was heavy. And I hate to admit it but this song was kinda heavier than “to the hellfire” for some reason. But good work!

hey! thanks for reacting to our first song :) and yes we did copy the structure of hellfire way too much lol. we took too much inspiration and ended up just copying it without fully realizing it was structured the same way. but we are definitely taking measures to make our future stuff more interesting and original. we still wanna stay in that blackened deathcore range, but we're gonna try to change things up a lot.
Yeah, you hear the "into the hellfire" in the background. Honestly mcnasty, you always struck me as person who literally only likes 90s metal and dislikes modern metalcore and deathcore.

The Guitarist in this band is McNasty who's a gaming/comedy youtuber also in a gaming group/podcast called the Goons, consisting of members McNasty, Soup, TheDooo, and Blarg.
TheDooo does gaming videos as well as other various guitar related content.
Soup has a band called Slackjaw, which has more of a classic metal vibe somewhat similar to Pantera.
if you want you should check out some Slackjaw, I'd definitionally recommend Mean It or Caught In The Crossfire but realistically you cant go wrong with any of their music.
Mcnasty is absolutely killing it.

Okay so context although I’m sure a hundred others are gonna say the same thing but yes this does have similar structure to Lorna Shore but that’s because the CZcamsrs Screamy Memey the vocalist, and McNasty the guitarist are huge Lorna Shore fans so they were deeply influenced by them. Now sure you can call them a copy/paste band but they’re very new and this is their very first project so I’m sure they’ll learn. As a fan of McNasty I’m actually very proud of what him and his friends have done.
Fair enough. But if you're a big youtuber playing guitar and I know Screamy is a wicked Vocalist... they should also know the backlash they would get. Do I care... not really. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt to change it up when they get more songs out.. that's just my honest opinion. This was a carbon copy of LS. It's one thing to be inspired. But this was a little to copy paste.

They probably did this purposefully since LS is very big on the metal scene right now and then maybe their next single will be more different and surprise us. I’ve heard both Screamys vocals and McNastys guitar skills and I know both are very good and creative at what they do so I’m not really worried for them. Plus backlash is something McNasty I think is definitely used to considering the dark humor gaming content him and his friends put out so I’m sure they’re fine lol

Ive heard that mcnasty said that theres gonna be a huge lorna shore influence but man this is just a to the hellfire cover. At least the talent and quality is there. I'll never understand why people complain about bands thay copy other bands. (Sure, I understand the moral side of things and it comes down to the bands intention) but if you like Lorna Shore and theres another band that sounds like Lorna Shore, would you not be happy that theres more music with the sound you love? Same thing happened with Lez Zeppelin and Greta Van Fleet. Personally I hope we get a new school version of AC/DC one day.
