I got curious and interested with the process that I'm now studying it. Me and my wife are in our early 40s and wondering if it is still possible and advisable for us to go through this kind of process. We find your channel very helpful and honest on the realities of being an international student and eventually getting a PR status in Canada.

After some time, I have decided to choose UCW, but my problem is I'm not sure whether my application will be valid for winter intake since I have applied for Fall intake before. Is UCWâs MBA Programme difficult to pass as it have 72% passing criteria and many students state that they find it difficult to score and even fail

Honestly, with the schools proximity to most public transit options, you can opt to live a bit further away from Vancouver where rent is higher than most cities đ

Hi Rachel, this video means a lot. I got accepted last 2021 for a 10K CAD scholarship for MBA from this school and quite skeptical because of pandemic and the school. I tried again to continue now, they offered me again but only 7K CAD but ok na rin kesa wala. Will continue because of this. Thanks.

Hi dear, you may need to take IELTS still for express entry if youâre aiming for that PR program! Kasi thatâs part of the eligibility requirements đ but itâs possible to skip IELTS for studying in Canada and if the PR program you qualify for doesnât require it đ
Hey Rachel i've been following you since the episodes where you talked about your stressfull and painful immigration story that ended with you getting PR in the last moment and i wondered while you stayed waiting all that long for EE , why didn't you considered PNP as a backup plan or something ?
and another question due to going to Uni directly for a Bachelor's will cost a fortune in money, what do you think about going to College for 2 years then PGWp then 1 year of skilled work then apply for PR through EE + PNP at the same time to minimize the risk and then after getting PR proceed to enrolling in Uni for a Bachelor's with reduced fees just as a Canadian Local. ? i hope you see this, thank you.
I did consider PNP but it also had a points system but the program I tried applying for needed my employer to back up my application - to which didnât end up going through. It was tough but Iâm glad it all panned out for the better in the end đđ„°

As a previous student of UCW, I would honestly advise anyone considering this institution to re-think about it many many times. After 1 term here I immediately moved to BCIT. I'm not going into details as I don't want to be libelous but there are many other (better) options in Vancouver and/or the entire BC. Don't be fooled about the "University" in its name. If you value your time, money and future, do your research thoroughly. Best of luck everyone!

Isnt UCW MBA degree still better than a PG Diploma?
@@KyleSforza in paper yes. But if your goal is to learn, a Diploma elsewhere is better. If you'll go back to your country after studying go and take the MBA. If you're an international student and plan to stay and work in Canada your MBA in UCW is not gonna land you a better position than those who took a Diploma.

I think itâs better to study from a public university with a masters degree, that makes you eligible for PR in British Columbia.
Itâs also the same for private schools, as long as you study a degree-granting programâŠyou are eligible for PGWP that in turn increases your chances to apply for PR. :)
@@rrdancel actually i was referring to BC pnp international post graduate category, in that program masters from a public university is eligible!
I just checked as well. There are 4 private universities that are eligible under the BC PNP international post graduate category (TWU, Farleigh Dickinson University, New York Institute of Technology, and Northern University).

This school has really bad reviews, please do your research before choosing to attend this school. It's considered a diploma mill and private schools are not reputable among Canadian employers. Better to attend a public university
