GCA 2023: INNOVATION TODAY, REALITY TOMORROW
Impossible materials, ground-breaking recycling techniques and disruptive supply chain solutions. The Global Change Award is a part of transforming fashion and turning the entire industry planet positive.
We want to turn the industry into a planet positive one and for 2023 we are looking for ideas within three categories:
1. Regenerate - solutions towards positive effects
2. Repurpose - solutions towards circularity
3. Reimagine - solutions we have not even thought about yet
Five winning teams share a grant of 1 million euros and get access to a one-year-long GCA Impact Accelerator provided by the H&M Foundation, in collaboration with Accenture, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and The Mills Fabrica.
The Global Change Award was initiated in 2015 by non-profit H&M Foundation. By catalysing early-stage innovations that can accelerate the transformation of the fashion and textile industry, the aim is to protect the planet and our living conditions. Neither H&M Foundation nor H&M Group take any equity or intellectual property rights in the innovations as the aim is to benefit the entire industry.
