There is nobody like Larson. Who else could lead laps at Indy, win a NASCAR road course race and two winged 410 races in a two week period?
Parnelli Jones, A J Foyt, Mario Andretti, Dan Gurney, and probably many others.
AMEN to that - did ever think we'd read something like that ever again - not a chance.
@@wabash-defiance5830 Parnelli could, he did. PJ was the GOAT. The others were great, but didn't run dirt.
@@wabash-defiance5830 Dan Gurney in a sprint car on dirt? Lol. I wouldn't even include Mario in that group, really wasn't much on dirt actually.
In their prime, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart.
You really do go way out of your way for us fans and I would like to commend you for it! You tend to get a lot of grief that truly isn't warranted so for a change, let me THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US FANS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO FOR US! I promise it does not go unnoticed from all of us.
Larson is making history and will have his own page in the book.
Great to see Briggs get a National USAC victory!! I've watched him race modifieds, and anything else. for several years. Glad USAC East Coast 360's racing has paid off to several drivers.
Bacon is under rated!!
Agree, Macho Man is one fine, accomplished racing craftsman.
Wingless in general is underrated phenomenal racing this year in USAC
💯
Woooo finally got on the show this is a career moment!
I'm super excited about the NARC tour. My son and I are headed to Douglas County and Cottage Grove. I'm also excited to add Cottage Grove to my tracks visited list.
Glad to see Rick Eckert win last night just goes to show you the old boy can still get her done
Damn speed week sponsored you even after you said posse couldn’t beat the outlaws… that’s how you know you have a good show 😂😂
I know most people don't care about imca mods but clash at the creek ran last night and again Tonight for 10 grand each night they had 79 mods from 10 different states and Tim Ward from Iowa won last nights show.
Was there fun time and the sport mods the first night was almost a crazy finish
I did not see the previous episode where you suggested that Brady Bacon switch over to wing cars. He is one of the best non-wing drivers of this generation in my opinion. If by "do well" you mean making more money that's possible. But as a die hard non-wing fan I wish more people would try to get more money into non-wing racing instead of just suggesting that guys go wing racing. It is better racing most of the time in my opinion. But I have seen some incredible wing races.
The guys that wanted freedom… went to high limit. I don’t think it’s coincidental that the majority of racers that went to high limit were owner operators of their own teams whereas the premier outlaw teams are more corporate structure with hired drivers. I realize there are exceptions on both sides, for instance, Brad Sweet with high limit, and Bill Balog with the outlaws. Corporatists are generally going to stick together just as independent’s will usually stick together.
I don't have a problem with the way WoO has it setup. Fans come to see the big name drivers (fan favorites) If they aren't there people will he pissed and likely not return in the future.
@@GameJunky513 it was structured to save the brand and it did! Like you, I have no problem with it… As long as it’s all legal a business can set themselves up however they wish. I was just making an observation. I think both of these sanctions are putting on fantastic shows, and I hope they both continue to flourish.
Oh Kofoid,,, wadded it up! Over his head!
I think running week in and week out with a series has gotta be tough.
With Larson having other commitments in racing outside of winged sprint racing, do you think he has an edge on the race when he comes in with a team ready to rock that's not worn out from the miles and the grind?
I think Larson a real killer and I'm not hating on his accomplishments, I'm just putting food for thought out there lol also prepared for some hate from the people who defend Larson.
Thanks for the show Justin!
Thanks for the heads up on the transcripts. I watch on CZcams with the CC. sometimes they really mess up the drivers names.
Bacon has a contract with sponsor Dynamics to race entire USAC non wing schedule.
You know WoO will be dicks and make Buddy count that. I think HL is great for 410 racing. They promote all 410 racing not just their own. WoO is still so bitter and their bad karma is showing.
I agree. Parnellie Jones was awesome,AJ.Foyt was amazing and Andretti leads an unreal family of racers. I have watched Yung Money a lot during his 2020 dirt run. I believe Kyle Larson is the best and think he will continue to build on his resume until he is undeniable the best.
Logan Schuchart has honestly struggled all year compared to past years' performances.
I appreciate the transcript but so far the closed captioning has been close enough for me. Sometimes I have to translate by context! Thank you for your show!
I’m a little surprised that more WoO drivers don’t use their freebies. There are plenty of times where it makes sense. It appears that the HL are more likely to invade WoO shows. It’s strange to me. I don’t think that Kofoid should be charged a freebie for the flip in hot laps. He didn’t qualify. Great show
He entered the event and took his car onto the track I don’t get why it wouldn’t count
PA SPEEDWEEK! LETS GO wooo
Fred RAHMER I didn’t think you knew a name like that all time leader I thought Lincoln Speedway, and that the grow running retired
You didn't think I know who Fred Rahmer is? I hope this comment is a joke. I've interviewed Fred Rahmer. My brother was the Outlaw PR guy when he won that final National Open. Brad Doty, Shane Carson, Greg Hodnett, Karl Kinser, Mark Kinser, Bobby Davis Jr., Rick Ferkel, Andy Hillenburg, Jack Hewitt, Jimmy Boyd, Steve Kinser, Don Kreitz, Kenny Woodruff, Bobby Allen, Sammy Swindell, Stevie Smith, Danny Lasoski, Kenny Jacobs... And on, and on. All interviews you can Google right now and hear my voice talking to these guys.
I wasn’t too interested in the talk of a rivalry between WoO and High Limit but as a fan shows where all the best drivers show up are objectively better. If WoO drivers intentionally avoid High Limit shows without using any freebies that seems petty. I’m a fan who just wants to watch sprint car racing whenever possible but High Limit is better in every way right now. Better announcers, way better pit reporting, better music between events on track, more creative format, and seemingly better drivers. If Donny Schatz still doesn’t understand why High Limit exists he must not care very much about the sport and fans that have given him a career.
Now this is funny.
No it's true
@@mikejones2830 how do you figure? Better announcer than JG? No. "Seemingly better drivers?" All 2 and sometimes 3 WoO caliber drivers? Didn't realize pit reporting and music made better racing.
Outlaws fans are totally delusional, the flo price and the wide variety of racing on there is so much better for the sport. The rest of the short track world is on board
Winged sprint car fans who worship the outlaws are holding short track racing back
For the drivers signed on with hi limit how many WOO shows can they do ?
They are not limited.
For now
As many as they want
I think you meant 10 nights 7 Tracks. PA Speedweek likes to ignore a few PA tracks and go to a few twice.
trailways (dead) penn national (dead) , silver springs (dead) , where do you want them to race ? clinton county? bedford, path valley (used to when rahmer was promotor ) Bridgeport (probably should if we are going to hagerstown)? big diamond (last show was in 13)?
You just named off 4 options they could go to along with Lernerville being a 5th one thats inside PA. You answered your own question.
@@spoot0590 Bridgeport, Bedford, Dog Hollow and Clinton are like 2 hrs away from the south central part of the state where the big 3 and BAPS are, path valley (its small is its main issue, a usac show there would probably be cool like Action Track was last year), and Diamond are really the only options (Diamond doesn't race very well, see USAC show from last night for details and thats coming from a guy who goes to williams grove on a regular basis and is used to "technical" racetracks)
Really great race at Eagle, until the rubber anyway. How about Madsen! Where TF did he come from, great drive by him. Bummed for Buddy, would be not cool if WOO charged him with one of his races when he literally didnt race, what 2 laps in hot laps. Flo never replayed it but it must have been a big hit, even Larson mentioned it in victory lane. Probably would have been upfront battling for the win
It's not often that Eagle takes rubber.
Was he at a HL race, get his car tech inspected and weighed? Then he was entered in another race. It's not the fault of WoO that he junked his car at another show.
Hilltop and most of Ohio Speedweek streamed on
DUSTVISION.
@@imperialmodelworks8473😂😂 you are a clown
10 tracks? PA speedweek?
7 (repeats at port, lincoln and williams grove) it started with repeat shows at lincoln and williams grove (with a solo baps show) in 91
Did Rico attempt to take out Carson Macedo on purpose, or, did his mullet obscure his vision? He likely damaged the 41 car owing to it not winning the race.
Why do the WoO sprint cars have a limited number of freebies to use while the WoO late models are free to race whenever it doesn’t conflict with the WoO schedule?🤔
Late models always seem to field more cars. But honestly it's a name thing. These shows are planned way in advance and you would understandably be upset if the race you went to watch none of your favorite drivers made the show because of a different race in a different series.
WoO was going to penalize 410's if they raced any HL. Then they compromised and said they could have 3 without getting penalized. They being assholes, losing out on a lot of great publicity.
@tcjohnson3437 Honestly it's fair. If your a WoO fulltimer that's where you race. The only exception being If the Outlaws have nothing on the books 2 days before or after. You big name drivers being at the racetrack is imperative to ticket sales.
@@GameJunky513 I disagree, it's not fair. It's a given that you race in the series you are going for end of season in. Everybody does that. But if your series doesn't have a scheduled race , you should be able to race wherever you want. To say you only get 3, then we financially penalize you is bs management.
@tcjohnson3437 Well then the answer is simple, don't commit to being a full timer. Otherwise you abide by the rules and regulations and go on with your day. If it was that big of a deal to drivers they would have all jumped ship. Shit look at how many drivers aren't even using the freebies. It's a non issue.
Tyler Erb missed the show me 100. So he has already fell off the Lucas tour.
Outlaws the new b series
as someone trying to get into dirt racing, what is speedweeks. please dont make fun of me lol
Pa speedweeks is just a little mini tour/series in Pennsylvania. Illinois has a speed week for late models. Florida/Georgia has speed weeks in February around the daytona 500 to kick off the season....
So does Ohio and Indiana. They has midgets weeks, sprint weeks and late model weeks.
They race every night at a different track. If your a fan, you can spend a week traveling with them and see racing every night at different tracks.
Right like it's hard to travel from South Carolina to Indiana for a single midget show. But when you have a race almost every night for a week at different tracks. It makes it worth using a week of vacation time.
Speeedweeks is a schedule of races run at different tracks over a 7 to 10 period. It gives the teams and fans a chance to OD on their favorite sport of dirt racing. Most dirt fans will never make fun of a new fan getting into the sport. One of favorite things to do at a dirt track is take a newbie, buy him or her a beer, then walk them down into turn 1 just before the 1st hot lap session - then watch their chins drop down on their chests as a huge smile spreads from ear to ear. Finish that beer in 1, go buy another beer then take them down to watch the exit of turn 4. Take em down into the pits afterwards - you just made a dirt race fan for life. Doesn't get any better than that.
