- A musette waltz by Eric Maxchwitz. I was inadvertently recording in mono until this recording. Hopefully the sound quality will be better than before, especially for those listening with headphones.

Thank heavens the second tune is taken at a brisker pace than usual, it's one of those accordion pieces that can sound like a dirge, but thanks to you she has been brought to life!

Thanks for your comments. Wish I had realized several weeks ago that everything was in mono, but my computer speakers didn't reveal the problem. Anyway, I'm still trying different recording options, and once I'm satisfied I may redo some of the others--or remove them. If I can keep it simple and avoid a lot of processing time I should be able to redo them--if nothing else it's good practice.
BTW, I loved your winning performance at the Roland Festival.

Great playing. It's a nice tune, too. I've never heard it before. The stereo separation makes it sound like two people performing together. It sounds richer that way!

I like your playing very much and listen to all the various people playing Accordian on UTUBE. I have just acquired a Piano Accordian and getting used to it and listen to a lot of Accordian playing and also singing of these French Musettes.

To hear his music close up live would really project the power that he puts into it. The recording only comes close.
