At 15:45: yes, Waaagh banners can detect. Their detection radius is shorter that their vision radius, but clustered near the edge of the cliff it was well enough to detect those steal suits.
Use to play this game so much with my cousins when we would lan party as kids. Glad to see a tournament scene that I can binge watch!

The Soulstorm and Dark Crusade DLCs added Tau, Imperial Guard, Sisters of Battle, Dark Eldar and Necrons. Very much worth the price tag if you ask me, especially if you're interested in getting the Ultimate Apocalypse or Unification mod.
