I want Rohini to interview SRK❤❤. She would possibly bring out the best. Would have loved if Hussain would have accepted that Bramhastra dialogues were pathetic, but loved how Rohini handled it.

Whatever he says, there is no way to defend a line like “ tu genda hai .. brahmastra pizza jaisa hai .. Isha tumhara button hai “ it took away the whole feel from the mythology universe .
This is not trolling. It was super shitty writing which spoilt a film which was long anticipated. Kindly stick to Baaghi 2 .. it was a good film and he did a decent job in its genre.

I was knowing Hussain Dalal as stand up comedian, Nescafe wala haklane wala ladka. I am surprised to know how much quality work he as done as a writer. By the way I like Bollywood. He is so lively.

Rohini and film companion I know you are reading this comment. Rohini you have a very unique style of interviewing which is different and very interactive. Can you improve your set of questions.
    1. You could have asked him about cringey dialogues in Brahmastra what was thought process behind it.
    2. The Technical stuff in writing and the process.
There are many such questions we as film students want to learn from this interview as well. The interview lacked many details and learning curves. I hope you take the criticism in your side. We wish to have many behind the scenes people on film companion local.

Watched Brahmastra and I wanted to love it but couldn't. The dialogues were actually cringeworthy. No it wasn't a millennial dialogue and even though I would love disgracing them for tiktok cringe, but even other genres have written stuff with better dialogues keeping in mind the younger population. I thought people were just trolling for the sake of it with "Shiva, Shiva" but they weren't. "tu genda hai", I mean it's what we would say when we are 5 year old maybe, and it's funny then yes of course. But an adult saying it? Why?

The fact is that he'll keep getting work and he'll keep writing pathetic dialogues because a lot of mediocre shows like Taaza Khabar are green lit every other day. This is the main reason for his overconfidence throughout the interview where he's like "mai toh kaam karke nikal jaata hu, baaki logo k kaan se khoon nikal jaata hai toh usme mai kya kar sakta hu?". Absolute lack of accountability.

There's many interviews of guests who has done work that I didn't like. But in most of them I get to know things about the person and also the perspective behind the work, which makes me appreciate the work better. This is the opposite. One of the worst and so dissappointing aspect of Brahmastra was the dialogues. I like Hussains view towards life (from this interview) but the way he just brushes off the really bad job he did is just disgusting. I liked some of his other works so I know he can do good work. But Brahmastra was so amateurish and cringey. Yeah it's true there's ups and downs, but owning upto the misses is important rather than trying to justify and get away from it saying stuff like "picture hit hai". Film was a hit because it was the effort of so many more individuals. And as I see your work as the dialogue writer took it down a bit rather than contributing to it's success. I'm really really looking forward to Farzi and I hope he did a good job in it.😐😐
