More of a reason to avoid ranked like the dumpster fire it is.
I don't care how skilled the gameplay is at that level, it's not worth the pain and toxicity getting there along with the pain and toxicity of maintaining the ranked status. I will continue to stick to Draft games until there's end of season rewards that are Sona themed.

I've been playing since Season 2 in high ELO.
Best advice I can give: focus 100% on playing better as a solo carry, expect nothing from anyone (do communicate, though, and see if they follow up), and mute anyone the first time you see them being negative.

The thing is that i dont wanna get that first time, im not focused on a game anymore, im focused on muting etc. Its sad to say but very often i mute all in the beginning of the game. The questionmark ping in wrong place is very annoying too, so i mute ALL pings in the beginning of the game as well. Scary stuff im doing :)
@@hannesvr5864 I recently got a friend request from someone. I asked them if I know them when I got it and they told me that I seemed chill. I muted everyone in the beginning of the game and didn't say a word all game long. xD
I agree that even up to Diamond I've seen toxic players.
Step 1: Mute all. Step 2: Focus on your own lane and good macro. Step 3: Profit.
Why even play a team game when this is the best way to climb 😅
I don't know if this is region specific or rank thing, or just brain damage. But I think it's massive combo in Oceania region.

Idk how long its been like this but especially recently it feels like most ranked games has someone with a huge ego or a sense of entitlement on either team and that usually is what loses a game for a team.
The kids are the problem, lol was more dark and the champions werent so flashy

I played in NA, LAN, BR and LAS and every server has toxicity problems but this was special, usually dont sre stuff like this but again, i mute people quite fast it pushed my Winrate up to just ignore the trolls and play my own game
The Vayne one is so relatable except that she has 8 kills not 8 deaths and its blaming her support, jungle and midlaner for her having too much ego to realise that she can’t outplay everything. The champion appeals to the “main character†mindset resulting in a truly horrific player base.
I haven't played league in over a year and that fucking Pyke was a great reminder as to why. Missing his fucking hooks and blaming you for his shitty life choices. God I hate that shit so much. Great content though Tilt, always love to see your stuff in my feed.

I just trained myself to mute a person when they show the tiniest sliver of brain damage/toxicity. My games have been a blast since then, only focusing on your own gameplay
@@Tilterella These people are in almost every game if you’re losing. Especially junglers. They’ll expect you to give up 2 waves to rotate for some stupid fight that doesn’t need to happen
@@Tilterella Well i'm happy for you. but my experience in plat has teed up perfectly to this over about 30 games in the past week. The one you are missing though is when everyone else's mental breaks while you solo carry and they surrender around you snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

One of my 'anti-tilt' mechanics is dragging FF screen out of the screen (making it barely visible), helps me from getting more tilted by others

My experience: I had a jungle karthus come mid lane, shove my wave level 2 (no gank or anything ofc) then run down river to fight a vi. I run down river to help he dies in 4 hits and then rages that he knew he lost 1v1 and shoved my wave so I would run down river and help him crab. He spent the rest of the game inting / afking
taxing the midlaner for no reasom and info is prob the best way to NOT get help from your midlaner ever again lol

It's at these moments, that I consider if it's even worth trying to get out of Gold, to get people like these.
I mean, it does happen, but not cuz it's plat elo, it happens in all elo, it isn't confined. It depends on the type of people, i find it too often people with main character syndrome in gold. But plat players might be more common.

hey man, i was just wondering when going tank whats the build path and when to build hullbreaker.
When going tank when do you go hullbreaker and if you do, whats the order of it? as an example if youre against aatrox and youre building hullbreaker do you first go for antiheal and then bami's cinder or do you go antiheal and hullbreaker. Also when building hullbreaker when do you build the mythic?
Would love it if someone answered these questions.
Assuming you are talking about sion, bramble into aatrox is a really nice first back. From there the tank build is sunfire rush if winning, hullbreaker rush if losing. Sunfire rush will give you a lot of damage and let you 1v1 enemy laner while hullbreaker will let you survive lane and take plates if they back. Delaying hullbreaker for Bami's ends up quite bad if you are losing since you are already behind and want the ad to clear waves easier and it makes you gain the hullbreaker armor later.
If you did sunfire rush, going hullbreaker second is pretty standard for splitting

@@caen-un9cw I'm not a top laner but I assume if you play against roaming champ (e.g. shen, quinn) you should rush hullbreaker too, to put more pressure on them. Corrent me if Im wrong.
@@caen-un9cw As Noo_Nee said rushing hullbreaker into a roaming top like shen can be really strong and you can get away with hullbreaker rush into frostfire tanks like ornn and malphite since they can never 1v1 you while you can still solo kill them with hullbreaker.
Whether it is sunfire or prowlers, both give you a ton of dueling power and lets you really push your lead further while rushing hullbreaker when you are ahead can end up with you losing your lead at 1 1/2 items when they finish their mythic. (Hullbreaker + bamis + bramble sion will usually lose to an aatrox with only gore)
Plat is true elo hell. Beyond that the players are so trash you can solo carry most games easily, but in Plat people suddenly get an Ego and start throwing a tantrum losing games on purpose.

tbh I kinda understand Shyvana at 8:00, I can't count the games where I snowballed early game to fall off late game cause someone in my team was farming my entire jungle.
kayle were farming 1 camp wtf, and who would you rather have a level 16 kayle or a level 16 shyvana?
@@RiverNunu In the grand scheme of things a camp won't make much difference for Kayle since she'll more than likely farm on lanes, which would leave nothing for the Shyv, as much as 16 Kayle is the win cond, you'd want your teammates to at least be decent meat shields which cannot be done if they're too behind.
That Vayna is a legit an npc but like on the different side of the spectrum.

Reading these comments remind me of my old days on League. From s3-s8 I mained support and would always play therapist for everyone. Last few years I only play mid and can't even stand the revolting immaturity of these players. I don't know if toxicity is worse or I've just grown too fed up with their bs but either way I can't handle their incredibly abhorrent behavior
League is quite something, its a fertile field for a psicosocial study. A lot of victimhood meantality and ransom, or hijacking emotions

I full mute players first time they BM with either a ping or in chat, so I have no idea how often I actually encounter this type of babyrage. They're doing it single-player
I started playing league in season 12 and ended in bronze and decided to make a new account and somehow managed to end up in a norm with plats and high gold players and they ended up playing exactly like how i see people in bronze play and they were typing PARAGRAPHS while doing so. So I guess they were skilled, just not in the way you would expect.
I can confirm this is what platinum elo is like. I am stuck in it after peaking diamond 1. I am sad.
I get supports like that pyke all the time, enemy locks a lane i KNOW we cant fight, so i just want to hard farm at tower with sivir or something in that nature. but my support wants to play mr hero and try to 1v2 then complain that i didnt back them up. fucking wild.
Why do people get mad for "ks" intentional or accidentally I don't mind I know it'll just help the team in the end lol

I am stuck in Plat this season. TBH, yes maybe I am just bad, but I cnanot seem to grab a break. Plat is the biggest cespool of toxicity and bad players. But, I dont really see a change, and after 12 years of league and multiple seasons of Diamond in a row, I dont find it interesting even trying anymore. Sad taht Riot doesnt wanna build the community and create good competitive enviroment

Which means that he didn't have ult up. Tilterella played the fight safer because he assumed that Tryndamere had his ult up, when he didn't. If he knew that Tryndamere didn't have ult, he could have chased him down

Whats funny is theres less people like this in silver elo than gold/plat, gold and plat is filled with ego players who think they are gods gift, while in silver when shit hits the fan most silvers assume its their own fault even when it isnt, the mental down here is better than high elo over all but the lack of mechanical skill keeps all the sane humans in low elo as well
I think most people in silver genuinely don't care about the outcome of the game too and genuinely play for fun. I know that was the case with me anyway. I just truly didn't care lol
