For those saying people shouldn’t wear makeup at a young age, it’s simply not you choice. I am 11 and see makeup as a form of art, and self love. It only becomes a bad habit when you don’t want to leave the house without it because you’re too embarrassed. It’s fine if your doing it for yourself. For some reason people see anything girly a bad habit when it’s just pretty things. If anything it makes you more confident in your self. Moral of the story; wear as much makeup as you want and don’t let others tell u what to do.

absolutely don’t wear any makeup from a young age, it will make you break out a lot. just moisturise and wash ur face with warm water and maybe a bit of lip gloss that’s necessary.

When i was a kid i only used lotion, vaseline, lipgloss, eyecurler, and that was it 💀

Thanks!! I’m about to be 13, and I’m not ready to wear makeup yet, I’m just focused on my skincare, and being actually natural, because I don’t want to feel ugly after taking it off 😢 when I start wearing Makeup, I’ll probably do these, probably just mascara though.

Hi, I just started wearing make up as well and I feel beautiful after taking it off as well. The biggest thing if you want to wear make up. Just make sure that you’re not covering anything up you don’t like like for me I just use a tinted moisturizer a little mascara and lipgloss And none of those things hide my face they just enhance but if you don’t want to try, it’s totally fine.

12-14: mascara and lip gloss
15-17: concealer, blush, mascara,lip gloss, sometimes eyeliner
18-21-you can wear whatever

@Poisonousslays makeup will damage your skin if you're young. Your skin is very sensitive, especially to makeup that's made for adults. I recommend focusing on skincare, like lipbalm, sunscreen, and face wash. Trust me, your skin will be so much healthier.

A better alternative : spf , clear mascara and and some lip balm
if you’re nine or younger please don’t wear any makeup and don’t use too much skincare! at that age your skin is very delicate and can damage it a lot. not only that but you’ll also break out. for skin care just stick with washing your face and using a moisturiser.
I’m 12 and nearly 13 and I have hyperpigmentation so I use concealer to cover up the dark spots blush mascara and lip gloss
STORY TIME
When I was in 4th grade, when I was 8, there was a girl who was obsessed with makeup such as mascara and liquidy blusher. One day, she took the blusher off and the next day came back with a spotty face. Also, she had a eye infection because of mascara. Makeup can damage your skin at a young age! DONT RUSH TO GROW UP OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET IT WHEN YOUR OLDER HAVING SKIN INFECTIONS BECAUSE OF MAKEUP!

Gosh… don’t be too concerned. It’s probably 1, for the mascara does she share it? That’s what causes that or she has an infected eye. 2nd, she probably slept with a face full of foundation! Did she wash it off? 3rd, wearing makeup at a young age is your parents rules. Either kids non-toxic makeup or real makeup. Don’t worry about our lives.

As a ten year old i love this makeup routine and if you love doing makeup go for it if you don't want to then don't us girls have natural beauty I only do makeup because i love doing it ( yes I liked my own comment )
Girls you don't need makeup, I would suggest just face wash. But imo getting into the habit of wearing makeup will just make you self conscious about what you look like underneath. Wouldn't recommend.
Edit: some people don't seem to understand the message I'm trying to send here. If it's just for fun, or you just want to, of course go right ahead, but I've seen it happen to so many people where they start to believe that they're ugly without makeup, and start feeling the need to always always always wear it.

You are correct, they don’t need makeup. BUT they can still wear it if they want to. Maybe it’s because they have acne or maybe they’re just having fun. It doesn’t necessarily matter what age you are when you wear makeup. I wore Make-up when I was in elementary because I had a horrible scar across my forehead. And while I could’ve lived with people seeing the scar, it made me so much more comfortable when others couldn’t see it. And my little cousin wears makeup just for fun and she’s only 10. So no, kids don’t need makeup, but it’s not hurting anyone if they do.

I feel like if you are 10 or 11, a clear mascara and lipgloss is fine but if you are 12-16 almost everything is fine but depends on how you take care of it and control it.. Sometimes you just put makeup because everyone else does. No matter if you put makeup or not, you are beautiful and keep remembering that ❤
This is what I do for a no makeup high school , first I prep with cream and then I put concealer on only under my eyes then I use a small amount of blush and I put transparent powder on to bake. Next I use clear mascara and some tinted lip balm❤❤❤

I’m 15 yo when I was 13 I was Obsessed with makeup I spent a lot of money on makeup but rn I got older and i don’t like makeup anymore. Sometimesssss like once 3 months I put natural clean makeup. I mean I’m pretty I like to spend my money on skincare products clothes things like that
I actually have that first blush but I feel like it makes my skin look dry so I wouldn’t recommend. However, everyone’s skin is different and mine is rly sensitive.

It says a lot about our society that CZcams suggests "natural makeup" FOR NINE YEAR OLDS!!! Back when I was nine years old, the only makeup I'd ever wear was either when I was dressing up (I started cosplay very early) or when I was feeling like seperating myself from the crowd even more than my natural appearance already does, black lipstick. (I have what is basically comparable to albinism, sadly my eyes aren't red or violet, they are a very piercing shade of green, and luckily my hair isn't all white, only some parts. Anyway my skin is white as snow and back then I wasn't allowed to dye my hair. I was always an outcast, that I got into school two years early didn't help, so when I got into secundary school, I made an effort to set myself apart even more. I don't really know why, I guess I just kind of figured inbetween sucks so if I'm gonna stand out let's do it right or sth. Also, especially since I was allowed to dye my hair black or at times brown, dark lipstick suits me. Just like dark clothes. I can't wear bright shades because a) I look like a corpse and b) it just isn't flattering. One time in school, due to graduation we had a theme day and we were supposed to dress up in camouflage. Our classroom had white walls. I wore white clothes and draped a white scarf around my hair, my classmates were basically on the floor laughing😂)

Obvi kids younger shouldn't unless u wanna make fun of them, but kids 12-15 start wearing makeup because they are finding their own style and what feels comfortable in their own skin. Coming from a 13 yr old who got a makeup set at 12 as a gift, helped me discover what i love.
But younger kids don't need to think about makeup right now because it's bad for their skin.
(Also don’t make fun of little kids in makeup that was just another of my unfunny jokes!)

Bro one time I went to Sephora to pick up a literal lip gloss/lip oil and a blush. Bro I walked in to see this little girl probably 9/10 wearing Nike pros that were so small with a align tank top (I think) and it was so cropped. She had so much makeup on with her high ponytail and she kept shaking her VENTI pink drink with a Sephora basket and in there was the glow recipe dew drops, glow recipe toner, sol de jenaro body mist (two different types), the elf concealer, tower 28 primer, rare beauty blush, rare beauty high lighter, and she was picking up the DRUNK ELEPHANT bronzing drops, the blue and purple drunk elephant moisturizer. My little sister has ALWAYS been very interested in makeup, and she is only nine.
I only became interested in makeup at fourteen and only got some at seventeen. Because my sister is so into makeup and self care like me, I give her makeup I didn’t like or no longer need. But don’t get me wrong, she asked to have some and I only gave her a very low pigment products that I have already tried.
I would NEVER give a child any makeup like foundation, concealer, contour, eyeliner, or eyeshadow. Just something light and fun to use or play with to make her feel pretty without going overboard.

As a 9 year old I still love wearing makeup and skincare it’s not useless because if u start at a young age ur skin when your older is better my sister is 6 and I’m teaching her makeup she doesn’t want skincare but I started at 7 and my skin is so soft because I don’t buy expensive bubble or drink elephant I use Tesco and Temu and shein they work just fine

Liquid highlighter wand from boots
Lash and eye eyebrow gel from Tesco
Then the love euye shadow palette
Then mascara
Light purple pink lipstick
Stick some gloss on top the ur done

I'm eleven and I often put lipgloss
I didn’t start wearing makeup untill I was 13- and it was less then that. For 9-12 year olds, just wear lipgloss, it’s a fun product to wear.
oh please! Don’t wear make up at 9 to look beautiful just do skin care with sunscreen,moisturiser and lipgloss. btw you can use any type of serum❤❤❤

I can agree this is the type of makeup tweens can use.
But they can’t use a lot , only a little.
Don’t wear makeup at that age, I use Vaseline as a clear mascara and just do skincare !😊
