That beautiful Amazon paper started my crafting journey in 2017. My daughter bought a TV stand that was delivered. As she's bundling it all (5 or so feet of it) to put it in recycle, I am looking at it and I say 'wait! I want it. I'm going to create a journal with it.' And so I make junk journals constantly! I have always loved paper and books. Now I am making mine.

I’m going to give this a try. It will be a struggle as I struggle to see the “special” or beauty in it. I am not very imaginative. I use to feel the same about collaging then I saw Cori And Gale do it in an organized way and all of a sudden I loved it. I am ready to try it in a unorganized way know. Hello Joie, I had such fun with this, ran out of Amazon packing paper and then went on to envelopes. I created a junk journal cover for a teenager who felt alone and wanted to journal. I love the finished effect, wish I could add a photo.

I once did that technique using different brown inks spread across the creases and when the paint or distress inks were dry painted the brown paper with Pantene hair conditioner. Once that has dried it has a leather feel and effect to the paper

I once did that technique using different brown inks spread across the creases and when the paint or distress inks were dry painted the brown paper with Pantene hair conditioner. Once that has dried it has a leather feel and effect to the paper
